Lawm from the Hills Sunscreen Review SPF50 PA+++
It is been so long since I bought Lawm from the Hills Sunscreen. I have been planning to publish my review but for one reason or another, I kept procrastinating it. Festivals happened and then there were Google Updates that affected my website traffic. It hurts when you put so much effort into the articles but an update rolls out and all your traffic suddenly faces a major drop.

I know it is temporary but still, it aches! Anyways coming back to my experience with the sunscreen. I have been using Lawm from the Hills sunscreen for a while now and I am all set to share my in-depth review. Let us move forward.

Review – Lawm from the Hills Sunscreen SPF50 PA+++
My Skin Type: Dry due to a history of eczema. Sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Packaging: It comes in an opaque squeezable tube with a screw cap and nozzle to dispense the product. The sunscreen is easy to store, use, and carry. Details like ingredients and expiry are mentioned on the tube.

Fragrance: It has a very earthy and nutty scent. Wasn’t appealing at first but I got used to it and didn’t find that bothering with regular use.
My Experience
I had a pretty great experience with sunscreen in the recent past including Brinton, Nykaa sunscreen, and ISDIN. I got to know more about sunscreens and their meanings which helped me purchase more suitable options.
I realized there are sunscreens like Lakme that offer high SPF and even work for my skin but only offer UVB protection. Over time, I started spending more time on types of sunscreen and what would work best for me.

Then there are sunscreens like Dot and Key that suit your skin but don’t really protect your skin. Even though they claim higher SPF but it doesn’t protect you from sunburns and heat rashes.
After exploring a bunch of Brands I decided to try something new and while scrolling Amazon, this sunscreen from the Brand called Lawm from the Hills caught my attention. It attracted me because it reflected simplicity and people seemed to love it.
Lawm from the Hills sunscreen offers SPF50+++ along with Blue Light protection and is a mix of physical and chemical sunscreens. I decided to go for it as I am more inclined towards physical sunscreen as compared to chemical filters alone.

After my morning shower followed by moisturizer, I decided to try my new Lawm from the Hills sunscreen. I used a two-finger amount and applied it generously all over my face and neck. The texture is slightly runny in consistency but feels decent while applying. It didn’t feel completely lightweight but wasn’t heavy either during application.
Post-application, I noticed my skin was looking somewhat shiny and wasn’t exactly something I expected. I didn’t have to go somewhere so I didn’t bother much.

Within half an hour of the application of the sunscreen, my skin started feeling super oily, heavy, and greasy. I thought it would settle down in a few minutes but I couldn’t bear it anymore and immediately rushed to wash my face. At that time my skin was so dry because of eczema-flare ups and still I felt this sunscreen was too much for my skin.
The next morning I decided to use sunscreen for my morning walk but without moisturizer. This sunscreen claims to have moisturizing properties so I assumed pairing it with a moisturizer might not be the best decision.
I applied the sunscreen and went for my walk. Surprisingly, I didn’t experience any heaviness or greasiness. Neither have I experienced any sunburn or heat rashes. But shortly, I started feeling that my skin was feeling dry and I needed to apply my moisturizer.
Lawm from the Hills sunscreen definitely protected my skin from sunburns but was either too heavy when paired with moisturizer or not enough when used alone. With regular usage, I started experiencing tiny clogged pores and realized even though it offers great sun protection, it is not doing well for my skin.
It claims that oily skin people can wear this sunscreen alone as a moisturizer but do not even consider it. It is going to make your skin look so shiny and greasy.
I will start using this sunscreen again in the winter just to finish up the product but it is not something I am impressed with or recommend as my first choice.
Summing Up
Lawm from the Hills sunscreen offered great sun protection but unfortunately, it made my skin heavy and greasy paired with moisturizer and when used alone, my skin felt dry over some time. With regular usage, I started experiencing clogged pores and decided it wasn’t working for me anymore.
