Biotique Vitamin C Serum REVIEW – Dark Spot Solution
Biotique Vitamin C Serum Review – In this article, I will be sharing my complete experience with Biotique Vitamin C serum on my acne-prone skin and whether it actually helped with dark spots or not.

Another Vitamin C serum made to the list of my favorites. Biotique Vitamin C serum impressed me with its gel-like texture and effectiveness on marks. I have been using this serum for some time now and I have been loving it for my acne-prone skin.
But, before that, here is a quick review.
Biotique Vitamin C Serum Review in a Glance
What Does The Brand Says?
Helps in reducing uneven skin tone, provides hydration, and brightens up the skin.
My Personal Favourites
Niharika X NykaaBiotique Vitamin C Serum Ingredients
Organic-certified vitamin C complex

How To Use
Simply massage a few drops into the cleansed face and neck, before moisturizer, both in the morning and evening.
As per what is shared on Nykaa.
Packaging
It comes in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser – love it. The pump works correctly without causing a mess and dispenses the right amount of the product. The bottle is further protected by a cap and can be easily carried and stored.

Fragrance/Scent
It has a very refreshing citrus scent. Not at all triggering for my sensitive nose.
My Experience with the Serum (Dark Spot Solution Variant)
My Skin Type: Sensitive and acne-prone skin. Combination to Oily in Summer and Dry in Winter. History of eczema and skin allergies.
I started by using the serum day and night as usual after my face wash and before moisturizing. I only took one pump as I did not want to overdo and honestly, only a pump was perfectly enough for my face.
Gel-like texture and consistency
The texture and consistency were of something gel-crème and I really loved it for me. Those serums that feel sticky upon application and leave a tacky residue behind are such a turn-off to me, like the one from Prolixr.
Prolixr Vitamin C Serum Review
The serum was immediately absorbed by my skin and did not make my skin feel sweaty in this humid weather.
In the extremely hot and humid days, I skipped my moisturizer and jumped directly to the sunscreen and my skin did not feel dry at all. The serum definitely has some hydrating properties which makes it ideal for the Summer season.

Nykaa SkinRx Sunscreen Review SPF 50 PA+++
If you are an oily skin person, you are going to love it and if you are a dry skin person, feel free to pair it up with a moisturizer as the texture is not at all heavy.
Effective in fading dark spots and acne-marks
Within 10 to 15 days, I am not kidding, I did notice that my acne marks were soft of fading away. They are looking less red and their appearance was calming down.
In the past, I experienced intense breakouts because of the products I tried such as Neude Skin Range and a sunscreen from Deconstruct. They both ended up causing breakouts.
Another reason was, I used Dromen and Co Moisturizer with their facial oil was not a great decision for my oily skin in the humid season. Individually they worked great but not so much when used together.
All of this, plus the weather and festive treats resulted in acne and my entire face was full of red cystic pimples.
The serum actually proved to be helpful in treating those acne marks. It is slow, yes, but is 100% effective. My skin overall looked clear and plump.
Maintains a fresh and clear complexion
As far as the brightening concerns go, I did not notice any major shifts as such but my face wasn’t looking that dull either which is so common in the Summer season due to dust and sweat. Probably because Vitamin C serum has been a part of my skincare routine for years.
This serum definitely made my skin look fresh and healthy.
If you are not using one or feel like your current serum is not working as expected, then you will definitely notice a brightened-up, clear, and glowy completion with this Biotique serum.

Biotique Vitamin C Serum vs Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum
In comparison to Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum, I will say that Deconstruct is more fast in terms of working on marks and the brightening up of the skin can be clearly witnessed.
This one from Biotique is slightly slower on marks but is as effective as the other one.
Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum Review – The Best Ever!
In terms of texture, Deconstruct Vitamin C is a complete water-like serum while this Biotique one is more like a mix of gel and cream.
Although, both worked great for my acne-prone skin.
No Breakouts
The serum did not result in breakouts, clogged pores, redness, rashes, itching – NOTHING! There were no side effects.
To be on the safer side, I did not pair this Vitamin C serum with any other serum. I have sensitive skin and I can not take risks. Jumped straight to Sunscreen during the daytime, and to moisturizer during nighttime.
I have finished half of the bottle at this point and I genuinely love it for my skin.
Do I Recommend This Vitamin C Serum?
A 100% Yes. If you are looking for one, this will definitely impress you.
Who is this Serum Suitable For?
In my opinion, this will work for all skin types. Dry, Oily, Sensitive, and Acne-prone skin, this will work for everyone.
Biotique Vitamin C Serum Review: Final Thoughts
The serum is definitely worth it. From texture to packaging to effectiveness, everything is 10/10. It suits my acne-prone skin and works on the acne marks. It has a soft gel-like texture and isn’t heavy or sticky at all upon application. Another hit from Biotique.
