Blogging with Soul in a World Obsessed with AI: Here is What I Feel

The use of AI has exploded in the recent times and people having been using it for the good and the bad. AI as a tool have been helping while some using it disrupt the core value of content creation.

If one can realise where to draw the limit, a lot can be changed when it comes to the use of Artificial Intelligence in blogging and writing industry.

Ever since AI came into public hands, I have been reading about the consumers using it as a search engine, as an assistant, as someone to help with their creativity block, or just the opposite, using it is to spam the content industry.

And, I think if you are reading this, you are pretty much aware where the use AI stands in current situation – mostly negative!

The reason I am writing this article is to simply share my opinion, my perspective on the use of AI especially in the writing industry and what do I feel about it.

I am grateful for the tools and intelligence but what I am not a fan of most of the times is how humans put it to use.

This is How I Met AI

I too started with AI when it was introduced to us as AI writing tools or AI article writer to be precise. I wasn’t aware of the AI until it was introduced to me as an AI article writer. Back then, I thought of it as a great idea and with all honesty, I was all in! I was so invested with the idea of article generation through AI that I spend both time and money in the tool only to realise that I have made a mistake and it’s time to accept the outcome.

AI can not write what you want to write – No, never.

After getting wrongly influenced and spending time and money on the tool (and it regretting it later), I realised that AI can only be a tool, an assistant, but not something to which you completely rely on or hand over the emotional or creativity control — and it was never meant to be.

I love writing. And that’s why blogging and writing articles on my blog will never be a burden for me. I love reading books, I love journaling — you get the point.

What bothers me the most…

Ever since the launch of AI, I have seen an influx of people creating websites solely for the purpose of publishing AI generated content. I read so many Reddit posts where they shared that they want to run a blog and but they don’t like writing and they can’t write beyond a few words.

The Problem Isn’t AI – It’s How We’re Using It

Writing is where I am in my zone ✨

Blogging or writing is not something that you can do when you see it as task. Of course you can not write more than a few words when it is something you don’t want to do.

Ask a writer and they will tell that how writing feels like an escape from the world and how we feel like in our zone and can go on and on about the topic we are writing on. That’s what writing and blogging is about.

What people are doing now, is using AI to generate bunch of articles and produce the AI spam all over the internet. There are even terms now – “made for advertising” websites where they don’t care about writing or sharing, they just want to publish x number of articles in a month and generate revenue with it.

You are entitled to your opinion but if you are using AI to publish a high number of articles in a month and call it “blogging” or “running a blog” then I don’t think you are being fair.

Asking AI to generate SEO friendly articles for your blog and for your clients where your primary concern isn’t proving information but to scale your website with this many articles on abc keywords, isn’t going to be fruitful in the long run. And, it just doesn’t feel right either.

The Heartbeat Missing from AI-Generated Blogs

In my opinion, using AI to help you with the formation of a paragraph or sentence or help you draft something in a way that feels more ideal for the situation, is well acceptable because this will help you to focus more on what you should be doing not to completely hand over the control to AI and let it be the master of all the context and emotions within the content.

Using AI to generate article is not a bad thing as long as you are in control of it and you are using it as your assistant to help draft an outline maybe, titles, formatting if any, different ideas if you are facing a block but if you use AI to publish 20 articles a month and call it success then you are only creating spam and nothing else.

Its not like I resist AI

I use AI. 💁🏻‍♀️

I use Claude, and now Chat GPT too, where I want to create a few additional alternatives to a title I am thinking or with meta description in some scenarios, some alternate suggestions, and even for articles where needed, and stuff like that but what I don’t do is ask AI to write a review of a particular product, or best sunscreens for acne-prone skin for me because then, what’s the point of me running a blog?

AI used for content creation can be so much helpful when used with the right mindset and intention rather than using it to spam the internet.

AI used as an assistant, monitored by you yourself can be such a boon rather than leaving up to AI to take charge.

There are pieces of content which are only helpful when shared from experience and using AI to generate that kind of content where genuine experience is needed, can be misleading. It’s just how I feel. 🎀

Using AI with the wrong mindset 🙃

That’s what offend me the most — the over exploitation of AI. The use of AI in generating websites and articles purely for the monetisation, purely to complete your task, purely to meet your deadline. Do you ever think about the information you are publishing with the help of AI that will impact the reader in one or other way? You’ll be responsible for it.

I just feel it shouldn’t be handed over like a toy in public hands because it ain’t just about writing, the use of AI been getting worse simply because of the such easy access to it.

I can publish an article about 10 benefits of rock salt in your food within an hour with AI but God knows what will happen if something goes wrong with the reader because they trusted your information.

It can be a boon when used with your own knowledge and expertise

At the same time, if you have expertise or knowledge in health, beauty, travel, or food niche, and you use AI to help you draft the article with the facts, information, and pointers you provide, you correct as you go, it is somewhere helping you in one or other way because I get it, not everybody has the liberty to take as much time they want depending on the scenarios whether you are a journalist or run a personal blog.

Having AI to assist in content generation can be a great aid when used the right way.

Loving writing is the core value of Blogging

Every other day a post pops up on Reddit where they want to start a blog not because they like writing, not because they like a particular field, not because they want to express their opinions, — but simply to create a revenue stream and if that doesn’t work, they end up posting that “blogging is so dead in 2025” and “is blogging even worth it anymore”.

You know how many websites and articles I land on when I look for a particular review especially in the blogging world and end up reading the features they listed. Where is the review? Where is your opinion, your experience on the product? Why would you title you article as review if you are only going talk about the features of the product and not about how it worked. Because they just want to grab the views when someone will search for the particular keyword and generate whatever ad money or affiliate money with it.

They don’t care about serving readers or sharing their opinion.

YouTube is trending and I can’t go on camera and talk on and on about it. A lot of people said you can create a AI character and make a YT channel about it reviewing products. Why? Won’t it feel like a task to me at some point? Would you be comfortable with that information? And above all that, won’t it feel wrong?

What is happening is the over use of AI, the wrong use of AI, and using it as short-cut.

If AI is working for you, great. Everyone got a moral compass and they are fully aware of all the good and bad they are doing. Can’t help it if your moral compass is broken. ☠️

Final Thoughts

The purpose of writing this article is to simply share what I feel. And what I feel is I am annoyed and sad seeing AI everywhere, even on WhatsApp? And, I know AI is not the problem — its the poeple, the public who is putting it to use for wrong terms rather the positive ones.

Anyways, I felt like to share these thoughts on my blog and I would like to know your thoughts in the comments below. ✨ Have a Good Day.
