Brinton UV Doux Blue Light Sunscreen Review SPF 50 PA+++

UV Doux Blue Light Sunscreen caught my attention while I was exploring SPF 50 Sunscreen options on Amazon, especially for my sensitive and eczema-prone skin. There are so many sunscreens that say SPF 50 but hardly protect my skin from outdoor Sun and Sunburns such as Dot and Key Sunscreen. It goes well on the skin but is okay for Indoor only and didn’t really help much when I stepped out in the sun.

Brinton UV Doux Blue Light Sunscreen Review SPF 50 PA+++

My concern when finding a sunscreen is it is safe for sensitive and eczema skin, is a mineral sunscreen, and does well in protecting my skin from Sunburn and heat rashes because my skin starts burning the moment I am out in the Sun resulting redness, rashes, heat boils, and peeling of the skin.

I have been using ISDIN sunscreen for a while now but I just thought why not explore the market a little. I am not a fan of most of the available options such as Minimalist or Derma Co., and similar Brands. I loved Minimalist when it started but every time they expand themselves with tons of products all of a sudden, they just lose their effectiveness and credibility.

Brands like Dot and Key, Aqualogica, or even Dr.Sheth’s don’t hold that much value in my opinion and I am more inclined toward selected Brands. I mean they aren’t bad but I just don’t actively prefer them or recommend them.

Coming back to UV Doux sunscreen, I was genuinely impressed with the reviews and how consumers mentioned that this sunscreen was actually prescribed by their Dermats. I decided to try my hands on this one and see how it goes.

My Experience with UV Doux Sunscreen

Every time someone asked for a sunscreen recommendation, I used to suggest ISDIN only. But I realized the fact that it is a costly one and even for me restocking it every single time will be an expensive task. I had to find more options that weren’t that commercialized and also loved my sensitive skin people.

The reason UV Doux Sunscreens caught my attention is they offer high sun protection for indoor and outdoor activities, and are sweat and water-resistant. I work from home so my routine doesn’t really involve me stepping in the peak sun but every time I do, I end up with Sunburns. It was high time for me to explore options that are not only safe for sensitive skin but offer high protection during outdoor sun exposure. Plus, I wanted to be aware of the options available so that I can suggest a number of options.

Coming to my experience, I started using the UV Doux Blue Light sunscreen every single day as a final step after my moisturizer. Whether I am staying at home or going out, I do not skip sunscreen. Even for my morning walks, I do not step out without sun protection because I love getting sun exposure and soaking up all that Vitamin D but for that SPF is a must.

First thing first, let’s talk about the texture and consistency. It is a tinted sunscreen with a silicone-like texture. I had doubts about the silicone base but it proved me wrong. It goes on my skin smoothly and feels like butter-soft while applying. It doesn’t roll up or pills-up and settles in beautifully.

The tint looks like a Universal one and doesn’t really make a difference but I do feel that it evens out my complexion a little. The good part is it doesn’t leave any white cast or white streaks while applying.

The texture feels light and comfortable on the skin. Not at all heavy or greasy. It is not completely a gel but it isn’t a cream formulation either. It is somewhere in between and I like it. It says matte finish and being a Dry-skin person I was skeptical whether the matte finish was going to feel comfortable or not but it offers such a soft matte texture that both dry and oily skin people can wear it.

Oily skin people can wear this alone depending on their preference but dry skin will need a moisturizer prior to the UV Doux sunscreen.

Right after the application, it settled in without leaving any shine or stickiness. At this point, the sunscreen had won my heart already. Next was to see how it goes for sensitive skin and how good it is in sun protection.

I wore the UV Doux Blue Light sunscreen regularly from morning to evening including during my workouts, morning walks, and screen time and I didn’t experience a single breakout. It doesn’t result in heavy sweating or dullness and stays intact. I did experience dullness with Dr.Sheth’s Sunscreen though.

Usually, I would experience itching or burning under the sun and sometimes rashes appear after a few hours of sun exposure. This happens when my sunscreen is not working that well such as Dot and Key watermelon sunscreen.

When I had UV Doux Sunscreen on my face and neck and I was out for morning sun exposure, I didn’t experience any burning or post-sun exposure rashes. There was no redness, itching, or any sign of Sunburn. That is when I realized I made the right choice of buying UV Doux Blue Light Sunscreen. It is lightweight, offers high protection of SPF 50, is safe for my sensitive skin, is sweat and water-resistant, and actually protects from Sunburns and heat rashes. A complete package.

If you are on the hunt for a good sunscreen, especially for your outdoor activities, go for UV Doux Blue Light sunscreen and you won’t be disappointed. Ideal for all skin types. But also, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, my advice would be to consult with your doctors first before incorporating any skincare product, not just sunscreen.

Next, I am planning to try my hands at Nykaa SkinRx Sunscreen and UnDry Sunscreen. Exploring sunscreens is my new favorite thing.
