Nykaa So Matte Lipstick Wicked Wine Review

Nykaa launched their own lipsticks and nail paints (Pastel, Neon Matte, and Simple Matte). I also tried my hands on the New Maybelline 24Hour Superstay Lipstick which didn’t turn out as exciting as I was expecting. New makeup really is so tempting, right?

In this post, I am going to share my review of my recent purchase from Nykaa Including Review and Swatches of Nykaa Lipstick Wicked Wine, Nykaa Neon Nail Paints in Pink Lemonade, and Blueberry Sorbet, Maybelline 24Hour Superstay Lipstick, and SUGAR Cosmetics Peachy Little Liars.

Review – Nykaa Wicked Wine Lipstick, Neon Nail Paints, Maybelline Superstay, and SUGAR It’s A-Pout Time

1. Nykaa So Matte! Lipstick – Wicked Wine

Price: Rs.399/- for 4.2gm

My Experience

Really, Nykaa is going very well in expanding their range. Whatever line they pick, they ensure the quality which I love about them. I picked this dark berry red kind of shade because I never tried such dark colors and I’m really happy to have this in my collection 😀 

The lipstick glides like butter and there is no patchiness after application. I didn’t felt any dryness. This will suit light as well as dark-colored lips. Stays around 5-6 hours but it depends on your routine too. Easily comes off with a makeup remover/ milk cleanser. Gives a matte look but keeps your lips moisturized too. Also, there is a magnet in its cap which is a good concept to hold the bottom of the lipstick and body together. Overall, I loved this and didn’t find any con 🙂       

2. Nykaa Neon Matte Nail Paints – Pink Lemonade and Blueberry Sorbet

The Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquer Collection is FIVE FREE. These matte nail polish formulas are not only made without the three most common chemicals found in nail polishes (Toluene, DBP, and Formaldehyde) but also without two other very dangerous chemicals (Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor).

The Nykaa Matte Collection is NOT tested on animals (just on our team!) and contains no animal-derived ingredients.

My Experience

The description itself tempted me to try these neon shades. No harsh chemical and nothing to harm your nail. 

These colors reminded me of my school time where I used to get excited over fancy fluorescent craft sheets. 😀 All the colors are properly pigmented to give your nail a hot look while maintaining decency. 

Gave my nails an airbrush finish which is quite unique and interesting as compared to regular pastel colors. Didn’t thought I will love “Matte” this much 🙂 Keep it up Nykaa 🙂 Keep surprising us.     

3. Maybelline Superstay 24 Color 2 Step Lipstick – Wear On Wildberry

Price: Rs.600/- for 2.3ml + 1.8gm

Product Description

How to use product

• Step 1. Apply liquid lip color to clean, bare lips.
• Step 2. Allow two minutes to dry, then apply the ultra-conditioning balm to seal in moisture.
• Step 3. Reapply balm as needed.
• Step 4. Remove with an oil-based makeup remover.

My Experience

I was waiting for such kind of thing for a very long time. I always apply lip balm before applying lip color. This launch really made me excited as One side of the stick is lip balm and the other side is lip color. 

Unfortunately, the formula is really patchy. It starts falling off in patches and it was looking really weird. Hard to say but yes, money got wasted on this product.  

4. SUGAR It’s A-Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick – Peachy Little Liars

Price: Rs.599/- for 3.5gm

My Experience

I tried only their Mad Magenta and fell in love with this brand. I’ve never experienced such kind of smooth and soft lipstick yet. After falling in love with SUGAR, I decided to own each and every single product/shade. But you know! Who can spend their entire savings in one go!

I love all lipsticks and all brands, but SUGAR is one step ahead. Their lipsticks are not so heavy on lips. I feel like I have applied nothing on my lips. These are not long-lasting but still, I adore them because of being so light and providing natural and decent colors.

If you feel like your lips are dry and you can’t apply lip balm, again and again, then you must go for this range. You won’t regret it.

Peachy little liars are the cutest and prettiest shade I’ve ever seen. This is most suitable for college going girls or for daily simple looks 🙂
