My Skin Type: Combination to Oily in Summer, Dry in Winter, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin

Packaging: It comes in an opaque squeezable tube with a flip-flop cap. The label has all the details such as ingredients, directions, and expiry date.

Fragrance: It actually has a very pleasant kind of fragrance. Like a mild baby product. I liked it.

My Experience

I still don’t know what AC stands for in the title. Am I missing something here? If you happen to know, do share what exactly AC stands for in Episoft Sunscreen.

When I heard about the Episoft sunscreen, it was marketed as a sunscreen with moisturizing properties. The Brand claims this product to be a moisturizer with sunscreen SPF 30. Is it a Sunscreen? Is it a Moisturizer? Does it make any difference? I don’t know. What I do know is how well it performed on my acne-prone skin.

I used it right after cleansing my face by taking a decent amount and massaging it well across my face. It went through quite easily. It has a runny consistency and the texture felt easy to apply and massage. It didn’t feel like a typical sunscreen which is often heavy and thick in texture and takes time to blend in.

Episoft AC cream blended like an everyday moisturizer leaving my skin moisturized without any heaviness, shine, or sticky feeling. There was no sweaty feeling or greasiness on my face. It was lightweight and easy on my skin.

Initially, I felt like the moisturizing properties of Episoft Sunscreen weren’t enough so I went ahead with my moisturizer but I realized that it was because of the weather. Once the dry season was over, I didn’t feel any need for an additional layer of moisturizer. Episoft Moisturizer with SPF 30 was enough for my skin during the hot and humid season.

If you are someone with acne-prone skin and you are reading this, you are probably wondering whether it worked for my sensitive skin or not, and yes, Episoft sunscreen did suit my sensitive and acne-prone skin. No breakouts, no clogged pores, no rash or itch, nothing. And it doesn’t feel heavy at all.

If you are looking for sunscreen for your sensitive and acne-prone skin, go for Episoft sunscreen without any doubt. But, because Episoft only offers SPF 30, it is not enough for outdoor activities or sun exposure for longer hours. Better go with UV Doux, ISDIN, or any sunscreen with SPF50.

Summing Up

I love how Episoft sunscreen works for my sensitive skin. It has moisturizing properties and it feels lightweight and easy on my oily skin. There was no reaction, breakout, nothing. It doesn’t feel heavy, shiny, or greasy at all. I use it as my moisturizer daily after cleansing and keep my skin moisturized throughout the day. Not enough for outdoor activities though as it is only SPF 30. Great for Indoors.

  • No heavy, shiny, or greasy feeling

  • Easy to apply and massage
  • No Breakouts or Reactions
