MCaffeine Coffee Face Serum Review

I have wasted my money by spending it on MCaffeine Coffee Face Serum. I am still in shock how there are tons of positive reviews at Nykaa about this serum. When I bought it I was really excited to have a serum made with coffee because I love the fragrance of coffee and it in itself is such a beneficial ingredient for the skin.

Review – MCaffeine Coffee Face Serum

MCaffeine Naked and Raw Coffee Face Serum Review

My Skin Type: Combination to Oily in Summers, Dry in Winters, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin.

Packaging: It comes in a see-through glass bottle with a dropper lid which honestly, doesn’t work. The product keeps getting pilled up around the neck of the bottle and is not travel-friendly.

Fragrance: This is the only thing I guess I liked about this serum. The fragrance is just like pure coffee and felt so good.

My Experience

I started by taking the dropper out which wasn’t working at all so I had to apply the serum with dropper stick like I am painting my face.

I gently dabbed the serum onto my skin and this point I was really satisfied except for the packaging. The coffee fragrance, the lightweight texture, the way it left my skin nourished, everything was looking so good.

I followed up with my Aveeno Moisturizer and it didn’t make my skin feel or look heavy. I was starting to like it.

A few minutes later, I felt a bit tingling or burning sort of sensation. My face wasn’t on fire neither it turned red but a burning sensation was there. It settled down after some time and I thought maybe it is new to my skin that is why I am getting this slight tingling sensation.

I continued using the serum everyday in my night time routine and before I could notice any positive results, I started getting pimples. And not just tiny pimples, big ones, the one with redness and pain.

My jawline, my cheeks were filled with red painful pimples and it was not getting any better. I still wasn’t sure if it is the serum because it smells so beautiful, it is lightweight on my skin, and people seem to love it.

I decided to check for reviews on Amazon and there were people literally saying that they have wasted the money on this, it doesn’t suit their skin, and a lot of people actually pointed out the burning sensation they felt.

I stopped using the serum and treated my pimples with salicylic acid and acne patch and things started to get better.

It feels so sad when you spend your money on really popular products and they turn out such a disappointment. It is not just about my sensitive skin here. Its the quality of ingredients they used and how exactly they procure from.

That is the reason YBP Cosmetics never fail to work. Their products with even ingredients that didn’t worked for me in the past with other brands, worked this time because they source their ingredients from authentic sources, they have a quality we ca trust.

My Experience with MCaffeine Coffee Face Serum or MCaffeine Products overall was really disappointing. My skin suffered and money got wasted.

Conclusion

MCaffeine Coffee Face Serum gave me pimples and painful red acne. It is no doubt lightweight on the skin but gives a burning sensation. It’s dropper doesn’t work and serum gets pilled up around the lid. Smells really good though, just like coffee.

Pros
  • Lightweight in Texture
  • Easy to Massage
  • Pure Coffee Fragrance
Cons
  • Doesn’t suit my skin
  • Resulted in painful red acne
  • Gives burning sensation
  • Dropper doesn’t work
  • Serum gets pilled up around the lid
