Dr.Sheth’s Haldi and Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen Review
Dr.Sheth Haldi and Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen Review – This sunscreen was all over my Instagram. Not only this particular but all of their variants have taken up my Instagram feed. The last I tried Dr.Sheth’s as a Brand was when I tried their eye cream which was quite expensive for the results I got. After all these years, I have seen this Brand grow and launch so many new products. Sunscreen is something that caught my attention and I decided to give their Haldi and Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen a try.

Review – Dr.Sheth’s Haldi and Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen
My Skin Type: Dry due to Eczema Flare-ups, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. Used to be oily in the past.
Packaging: Comes in an opaque squeezable tube with a flip-flop cap. Easy to carry, use, and store. Has all the information on the tube itself including ingredients and expiry.

As claimed by the Brand, this is a Sunscreen with organic and mineral filters which basically means, a physical sunscreen. A physical sunscreen offers more sun protection as compared to a chemical one but physical sunscreen has been known to give a heavy white cast. Over the years, I feel the formulations of Sunscreens have improved so much that we not only have a mix of physical and chemical sunscreens, but sunscreens with no white cast as well.
I am so happy to see that the sunscreen industry has grown so much and now we have so many great options to choose from for all our skin types. There was a time when none of the sunscreen worked for me either because of my oily skin or because of my skin sensitivity. And now, I have options like ISDIN, Episoft, or even UV Doux that go well for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

At present, my skin is no longer oily because my childhood eczema came back, and after all these flare-ups, I constantly face dryness. Touchwood, my skin has been doing well ever since I switched to Dove Bar for my face and body and started incorporating oils from Oleum Cottage. I also stay away from triggers such as dairy and sugar which definitely helped me in controlling the flare-ups.
I am someone whose skin gets easily burned under the Sun and ends up with blisters and rashes so I had to take my sun protection seriously. For years, when none of the brands worked for me during my teens, I just stopped looking out for sunscreen but as I entered my mid-20s I realized I had to find the one. Now I have this sunscreen from ISDIN which works so well with my eczema symptoms and I am so glad that I have options now that work for my skin.
My Experience with Dr.Sheth’s Haldi and Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen
I started using sunscreen every day after I was done with my skincare routine. Right after my moisturizer, I take a decent amount of sunscreen and apply it gently all over my face and neck.
The texture is slightly on the thicker side but soft and comfortable enough to easily massage on the face. I didn’t experience any rigidness or white streaks while massaging and it went on just like a moisturizer.
True to its claim, there was definitely no white cast. It didn’t make skin feel heavy or greasy and I found the texture comfortable for my skin. However, I feel that oily-skinned people might feel this one slightly on the richer side.
Dr.Sheth’s Haldi and Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen has moisturizing properties so if you are on oily skin and feel this is slightly heavy for you, you can wear this alone. If you have dry skin like me, you will definitely need the moisturizer. That being said, I feel the consistency is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to carry throughout the day.
I used the sunscreen regularly for days and I didn’t experience any breakouts, rashes, or reactions. Worked great for my sensitive and acne-prone skin. But, it did cause a slight sting in my eyes right after application. Nothing major but I could feel that in my eyes.
I wore this sunscreen during my morning walk for sun exposure and some Vitamin D and I didn’t experience any sunburn during sun exposure. Did a great job of sun protection.
After a few hours of sun exposure, I felt a slight bit of itch on my forehead due to heat exposure but nothing major. My face did look red but not sun-burn kind of red. I didn’t experience redness, rash, or any sign of sun damage.
It is not sweat or water-resistant so not ideal for long hours under the sun or heavy outdoor activities.

Everything was going great with Dr.Sheth’s Haldi and Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen until I noticed that my face was looking so off and dull day by day with a very awkward shine. My skin wasn’t feeling oily but the appearance of my face had a very noticeable shine. I wasn’t really sure so I stopped using the sunscreen to see how it goes and my face got back to normal.
I was also using this Vitamin C serum from BeBodywise and I had my doubts about that too. Turns out, both of these products resulted in such heavy dullness and I had to discontinue them.

I don’t know the exact reason why this happened even though the texture and consistency were working great for me but with regular usage, it did make my skin look shiny and dull.
Is Dr Sheth Haldi and hyaluronic acid sunscreen good for oily skin?
I didn’t find the texture heavy or sticky and it would be a good option for oily skin as well. However, I feel it leaves a visible shine which definitely won’t be acceptable to oily skin. It is possible that oily skin won’t feel the need for a moisturizer with this sunscreen.

Summing Up
Dr.Sheth’s Haldi and Hyaluronic Acid Sunscreen is a great lightweight sunscreen that works well for my sensitive and acne-prone skin without leaving a white cast or making my skin feel heavy. Offers high protection and protects my skin from sun damage. But unfortunately, it did make my skin look dull day by day adding a visible shine and ultimately, I had to stop using it. Plus, it is not sweat or water-resistant so not ideal for outdoor activities.
