Give Your Regular Milk Tea a Twist with The Kadak and Premium Chai Masala From Tea Treasure
Tea Lovers, this is for you. If you are someone whose day is not complete without a cup of Milk Tea (The Indian Chai), then you are going to love this post. Let me tell me honestly, I am not a Milk Tea Person. I am all into Green Tea and Herbal Tea. But because of my collaboration with Tea Treasure, I tasted Chai for the first time in my life. So in this post, I’ll be sharing my views and the views of my parents who of course are regular tea people.
If you are following my blog and read the post on Tropical Hibiscus and Minty Fusion Green Tea, then you know how much I like Tea Treasure for having a huge collection of Herbal Tea. I have tasted many variants and I quite enjoyed them.
In this post, I’ll be talking about their Indian Premium Chai, Kadak Chai Masala, and Premium Chai Masala. Let’s Get into the Review.
Tea Treasure Teas
The Premium Indian Chai
(CTC Black Tea)

According to Wikipedia, Crush, tear, curl (sometimes cut, tear, curl) is a method of processing black tea in which the leaves are passed through a series of cylindrical rollers with hundreds of sharp teeth that crush, tear, and curl the tea into small, hard pellets. Tea produced using this method is generally called CTC tea or Mamri tea.
Steps towards a Perfect Cup of Tea ☕
- Place 1g of tea (1 Teaspoon) in the pot per 150ml of milk and water.
- Bring the mixture to boil
- Let it boil for 5-7 minutes, according to your taste.
- Then pour out completely.
Kadak Chai Masala
(For Perfect Masala Chai)

My Experience: This really takes tea to another level. It is a powdered mixture that can be added while preparing tea or after it for some extra strong effect. I and My Mommy both felt that it has strong dominant cinnamon (Dal Chini) flavor. Though it has other healthy ingredients such as Ginger, Cardamom, and Cloves, Cinnamon is ruled here. This made that simple mild milk tea a strong exotic tea. Those who are not comfortable with a strong Cinnamon flavor may not like it.

My Experience: This is a leafy masala in which you can clearly find various types of leaves and herbs added. This is to be added while preparing tea but you can leave some in tea to let the tea extract its flavors. The aroma of masala itself has strong cinnamon and cardamom aroma. While having a sip of it, I definitely felt the strong strike of ginger powder. This masala totally took over that mild regular tea and turned into a special and spicy one having exotic flavors and aroma. I love these ingredients not just in tea but in my regular food too. I love how they take the taste and aroma to another level. If you are someone who always loves something striking in your tea, then this is for you because all the ingredients keep on rotating in just one sip.
