Coffee Body Polisher and Charcoal Tea-Tree Cleanser from Luxury Essentials | A Chemical Free Skincare Brand | Review
Skin Polisher and Face wash |
The word “Coffee” is enough to feel that pleasing coffee beans aroma. When I saw this jar, written “Coffee” on it, I got attracted towards this. In my previous post, I shared my views on Luxury Essentials’ Strawberry Bathing Bar and Lip Balm. And this post, I’ll be talking about their Coffee Body Polisher and Charcoal-Tea Tree Face Wash. Why I am talking more about Coffee here? Because I liked that Body Polisher more. 😄

👉 Packaging: Comes in not-so-glass and not-so-plastic jar with a safe golden screw lid having the inner lid too for extra protection. All the information regarding product was there which I liked. Because it is a bath product, the jar got sticky after continuous usage.
👉 Color and Consistency: It is coffee brown in color and consistency is something like coffee mixed with brown sugar granules. The granules are not harsh or poky on the skin. It melts away within seconds while giving healthy exfoliation.
My Personal Favourites

👉 Fragrance: I thought it will be having strong coffee aroma but it is mixed with vanilla essence so it is something like sweet coffee. It was heavy for the first time but then I get used to it.
👉 Effectiveness: The Granules! I loved it how they melted on my skin without being harsh. I took some amount and started exfoliating on my arms and the way this scrub massaged my skin, I was enjoying it. Within seconds, the granules melted leaving a soft layer of hydration but not stickiness. After washing off, the excess of nourishing oil was washed off and it left my skin buffed and nourished.

Neither it is too mild nor so strong, I use it as per my mood. Sometimes I use it 2-3 days in a row when I feel tired or sweaty and sometimes I skip it when I feel Lazy. 😄 The way it works on dead skin, I am totally impressed. It removes all the dead and dull skin cells, clogged pores, and dirt. Plus Coffee is known to have antioxidants when it is used in skincare. So overall, a good healthy product for skin.
Pros
- Chemical Free
- Healthy Exfoliation
- Granules melts within seconds
- Not Harsh on Skin
- Leaves no Stickiness
- Good for Sensitive Skin as well
Cons
- No Con

👉 Packaging: Comes in a plastic bottle with a pump nozzle. But the packaging I received was a bit different in terms of labeling. So below I have attached the image sent by them for your reference.

I was having trouble with the pump nozzle. It took around 10-15 pumps for the first time and again after 2-3 times, the pump got stuck. So I had a talk with Garima (Owner) and clarified that it was a minor nozzle fault only with the bottle I received.
It takes around 2 pumps to get the enough amount.

👉 Color and Consistency: The Color is Jet Black like the real charcoal color. Consistency is something like a runny gel. It doesn’t form any kind of foam or lather. I feel like I am giving myself oil cleansing.
👉 Fragrance: Has a strong tea tree essence but after continuous usage, my nose got used to it. 😄
👉 Effectiveness: I have very complicated skin. First, it is Acne-Prone, Oily and Sensitive and then it is eczema skin. And when you have eczema, you can’t use too much of oil-free products but at the same time having oily skin, you need something oil-free. Because of this, my skin swings between Dry, Combination and Oily.
Charcoal and Tea Tree, no doubt are excellent ingredient when it comes to acne-prone skin but after using this like my regular face wash, that is 2-3 times a day, I felt it is a bit drying for me. Maybe both the ingredients in combination was strong for my sensitive eczema skin. So I used this only one time a day, that is before going to bed.

No doubt, it cleanses so well. It took all of the makeup, dirt, oil off. Even after toning my skin with toner, I didn’t see any residue on cotton. I was sure enough that my skin is deep cleaned after using this face wash. There are no instant glowing or brightening effects, but yes it does it’s cleansing job so well. My Face was squeaky clean from the first use. I can not comment on the effectiveness on pimples because natural ingredients do take the time to show results. In short, it is a good oil and dirt free cleanser.
Pros
- Chemical Free
- Deep Cleansing
- Easy to use with Pump Nozzle
- Travel-Friendly
- Leaves Oil and Dirt Free Skin
- No Residue on Cotton while toning
Cons
- Costly
