Godrej Professional PROBIO Quinoa Smooth Shampoo Review

I was casually looking for more shampoo brands and variants to explore over Nykaa and I spotted these two shampoos, Godrej Probio Quinoa Smooth Shampoo and the other was, Scalpe Pro. I will talk about the Scalpe Pro some other day but if you are curious, I simply loved that one. 💕
This article is about my experience with Godrej Professional Probio Quinoa Smooth Shampoo. For some reason, I had this in my mind that the name is “Probioq”. No idea why my brain attached the letter Q to the name. 😹
Anyway, if you have been looking for a review of this shampoo, you are on the right page.

Rating: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am absolutely impressed. The shampoo did a great job in cleaning the scalp resulting in soft and shiny hair without making my hair weighed down or excessively dry. Neither there were any allergies or hair fall. It also treated the everyday damage and frizziness and made my hair noticeably look smooth, soft, bouncy, and shiny.

Review – Godrej Probio Quinoa Smooth Shampoo
My hair type: Wavy hair with an oily scalp and dry ends. Turns greasy/oily easily.

Packaging
It comes in an opaque bottle though the leftover product can be noticed under good lighting. It is a squeezable bottle with a flip-flop cap. I found it easy to use and dispense the product.

As of now, there is no conditioner in the range but if there were, the labels could be improved to focus on the word SHAMPOO as currently, it is mentioned in small tagline print.
Fragrance
A gentle typical shampoo fragrance. Nothing too strong or overpowering as such.
My Personal Favourites
Got a pearly look to it
The first thing I noticed was the color, consistency, and appearance. It has a pearly look to it with somewhere semi-thick consistency.

The shampoo lathered up nicely providing a great cleaning experience because if I am being honest, lathering in itself is such a good feeling when it comes to shampoos and body washes.
I massaged my scalp and hair gently, rinsed off, and repeated the process. While rinsing the shampoo off, I could feel my hair soft and it didn’t feel like the shampoo stripped off the hair moisture at all. I followed up with the conditioner from Nature Spell because I didn’t buy the Probio mask that comes within the range.
Nature Spell Rosemary Oil, Shampoo, Conditioner, and Eye Serum Review
Cleanses well without leaving any greasiness behind
I have made a habit of shampooing twice to avoid any chances of a greasy scalp no matter what the shampoo is. Whether I have oiled my hair or not, I now shampoo twice so I did the same with Godrej Probio as well but out of curiosity, I shampooed only once to see how it went and it did not fail to impress me.
The shampoo cleansed the scalp nicely without drying my hair. Now, this wouldn’t be the case when I have oiled my hair but in general, I love how effective the shampoo is on my oily scalp.
Once I was done, I dried my hair following up with Streax heat protect spray and L’Oreal extraordinary oil hair serum.
Made my hair shiny and soft to touch
I loved how my hair turned out. The natural waves of my hair looked so healthy, soft, and shiny and they felt so smooth to touch. There was not a single sign of dryness because of season change or frizziness and neither the shampoo weighed down my hair.
With regular usage, I feel it not only worked on the seasonal frizziness but also treated the damage that my hair constantly faces due to water quality and pollution.

Deep cleanses the scalp ✨
I don’t have itchy scalp or dandruff issues but the way this shampoo cleansed the scalp well enough, I think it would do a great job in treating dandruff and greasy scalp issues. Plus, I have now started using a scalp massager while shampooing which made a lot of difference. My scalp doesn’t turn oily that soon now as compared to how it was previously.
That being said if you are specifically looking for a shampoo to treat dandruff and scalp issues, go with Scalpe Pro as it is more focused on treating those issues in the long run.
Did not result in any hair fall
Coming back to Probio quinoa smooth shampoo, I did not face any allergies, hair fall, or any side effects and everyone in my home with different hair lengths and types seems to love it.
And if I am not wrong, it adds a noticeable shine to my hair as well. Not glittery, but healthy bouncy shine.
I loved shampoo and its results so much after so long and that was Nature Spell. I thought this was the one I will stick to for some time but this Godrej Probio Quinoa Smooth caught my eye and I am so glad I decided to try it because I loved the results as much as I loved Nature Spell.
From cleaning capabilities to adding softness to my hair, I loved everything about Godrej Probio Shampoo.
Whether you have a dry or oily scalp and hair, this going to do great for your hair. 💁🏻♀️
