I recently purchased two new shampoos to explore something new in the hair care segment. One of them was Godrej Probio Quinoa Shampoo, and the other was Scalpe Pro Anti Dandruff Shampoo, the one I am reviewing today. Scalpe Pro caught my attention first with its blue-themed packaging and then with the word “scalp” present in its name.

I felt like this was something I needed to try; my scalp would definitely like it, and it gave such positive vibes that I couldn’t say no.

It’s been over a month now. My whole family and I have been using it, and I am ready to share my detailed experience and review on the Scalpe Pro Shampoo.

My Hair Type: Oily scalp with dry and wavy hair.

Packaging

It comes in an opaque bottle with a flip-flop cap. The nozzle works perfectly fine for dispensing the product without creating a mess or any hurdle while using or storing. It comes in an outer box with a detailed list of ingredients and other important information.

Fragrance

I started using the shampoo as usual, and the first thing I noticed was the scent — it has such a different kind of fragrance, yet on a milder note. It sometimes feels like a baby shampoo and sometimes like perfumed erasers. I hope I am able to help you imagine it here. 🙈 The main point is – I like it.

Dandruff wasn’t my concern — Oil build-up was

Before I move ahead with my review, let me share that I don’t have dandruff issues as such, but what I am more concerned about is scalp health. My scalp often gets oily soon because of sweat, dust, and pollution factors for which the term is used – build-up.

There are very interesting ingredients that are highlighted on the packaging, which I don’t have any knowledge of, but it looked like it would be more of a targeted one for the scalp than other shampoos I use, which often works on the hair.

Talking about the consistency and the color. It got a soft peach color and a semi-thick consistency. It is neither super thick nor extremely water-like runny.

Forms a decent lather and gives an ideal satisfaction of the cleaning that I want in shampoos. 😌 I know that shampoos which doesn’t form much lather are ideal for hair health, but the foam and lather in shampoos and body wash are something that I appreciate and prefer.

Gives a cooling sensation

Once I lathered up the shampoo, I felt a cooling sensation, something that was not uncomfortable or annoying but it was more of a relaxing and soothing cooling sensation.

Now, I have made a habit of shampooing twice in one go. This double rinse works better for my hair, and it makes sure that there is no oil residue left.

I followed the same with Scale Pro as well, especially on the days when I have oiled my hair.

Worked like a charm — for both, scalp and hair

The next thing was to see how my hair and scalp felt once dry, and the shampoo did not disappoint. Being more of a medicated kind of type, I did not expect much in terms of appearance or softness, but as much as this shampoo was effective on deep-cleaning the roots, it was on the hair locks as well, resulting in soft, shiny, and bouncy hair.

My hair did not feel rough or stripped of its moisture, and neither were they weighed down. Perfectly clean scalp with healthy looking hair. ✨

Further, I wanted to see how it works if I don’t double rinse, and again, I was impressed. It thoroughly cleansed the scalp, resulting in an oil-free, clean, and healthy scalp and hair.

That being said, I still follow the double-rinse out of my habit now, and I like it this way.

Can be used daily

The Brand mentions that the shampoo has a conditioning base and can be used on everyday basis and I feel it will be ideal for people who are exposed to dust and pollution on the field and need to wash their hair on an everyday basis because it did not really make my hair feel rough or dry.

I, being a full time blogger, work from the comfort of my home, so I don’t feel the need of shampooing daily, but when I do, of course, I want my scalp thoroughly cleaned. ✨

Can be used by dry scalp people, too

Though the shampoo targets the concerns that often come with dust and pollution, or oil build-up, it didn’t fail to work for my Mother as well, who got a dry scalp. The shampoo resulted in soft and clean hair and scalp without making the scalp further dry.

I had to use my regular conditioner

As far as having the conditioner within the shampoo goes, I did not notice any conditioning effect without using an external conditioner. I feel their conditioner base would be somewhere balancing the strong effect of the ingredients, if any, but I had to go with my Nature Spell Conditioner as usual.

I found it best to treat and keep scalp issues at bay 💁🏻‍♀️

Overall, I really loved it. It’s not that the other shampoos that I previously loved weren’t that effective on the scalp or were not deep cleaning the scalp. It’s just that this one from Scale Pro is more targeted to scalp issues and helps me keep my scalp clean for longer days — meaning, that if anyone dealing with more severe issues with scalp such as excessive itching or flakiness, then this Scalpe Pro anti-dandruff shampoo would be a more suitable option than the other good shampoo in general.

Plus, the way it targets the scalp, I feel that having this shampoo as a part of hair care can further keep scalp concerns such as dandruff and grease build-up at bay.

Did not cause hair fall

There were no side effects. No itching, no skin rash, no hair fall, nothing. It worked very well without any complications.

I am more impressed with the fact that it pays as much attention to hair health as it does to the scalp. No wonder it worked great in terms of deep cleaning the scalp and keeping it free from any itch, but it also made my hair look soft and glossy. So literally anyone can use it to maintain a healthy scalp, even if you aren’t dealing with any scalp issues in particular.

Final Thoughts – My Take on Scalpe Pro Anti Dandruff Shampoo

Even though dandruff wasn’t my primary concern, Scalpe Pro didn’t fail to target the scalp issues I had, such as oil buildup from sweat and pollution. It effectively and deeply cleansed the scalp, resulting in a clean and healthy scalp and roots, giving me a clean and lighter feeling, and it also made my hair look soft post washing. This can be used daily if you are exposed to heavy dust and sweating on an everyday basis. It caused no hair fall or roughness, and I feel it can be used by everyone, even if you don’t have any particular scalp issues as such, to deeply clean the scalp at every wash.
