Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum Review

Sale Alert for my readers-

After trying Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum I think I have a newfound respect for the Brand Deconstruct when it comes to serums. First the retinol serum and now this. I can’t say the same about other categories from the Brand as the other day I was going through Deconstrcut Sunscreen reviews and it was rated so bad and was full of negative reviews.

Indian Market is flooded with new brands and the problem I face with most of them is they start on a healthy note and eventually become the worst Brand to exist. This happened with Mamaearth and Minimalist. Even in the clothing category – BlissClub.

I don’t know what happens to their formulations but they just degrade themselves once they reach that point.

I am a sensitive-skinned person with dust allergies, it is important for me to be very selective about Brands and their products.

I have been using Nykaa Vitamin C serum on a repeat basis but I felt like my skin needed a change and after days of research, I decided to go with Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum 10%.

The thing I like about the Brand Deconstruct is their products are formulated with the lowest percentages. This is actually good for people like me with sensitive skin or for beginners who are starting out with serums.

I remember trusting with The Ordinary when I wanted to introduce Retinol to my skin and it was my biggest mistake. The Ordinary products have higher percentages and the Retinol despite delivering results, triggered my eczema allergies.

I then realized The Ordinary Retinol has a higher percentage, especially for people with sensitive skin and those who are starting out. The Retinol from Deconstruct has the optimal percentage and it actually worked for my sensitive skin.

Review – Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum

My Skin Type: Sensitive and acne-prone skin. Dehydrated skin due to a history of eczema and dust allergy.

Packaging: It comes in a glass kind of bottle with a pump dispense which is further protected by a cap. I liked this pump packaging more than the dropper as it is more hygienic in my opinion.

The bottle is easy to store, use, and travel with.

Fragrance: None as such

My Experience with Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum

As usual, I started with a pump on my palm and gently patted it all over my face right after washing my face. Currently, I am using Simple Refreshing Wash and I think it is genuinely working great for my sensitive skin.

The texture and consistency felt like water and not at all heavy or sticky. I remember I once used a Vitamin C Serum from Prolixr and it was so sticky on my skin.

It immediately got absorbed into my skin without leaving any sign of stickiness and I moved forward with my moisturizer.

I continued this routine for weeks and the first thing I wanted to make sure is whether it was suitable for my sensitive skin. When days and weeks passed by and it didn’t cause any single breakout, I was relieved that Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum was actually safe and suitable for my sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Coming to how effective Deconstruct Vitamin C serum is I feel it is even better than the Nykaa one I have used in the past.

Within weeks, it started showing results by working on the acne marks.

The reason I got acne and pimples all over my face was because I was consuming My Happy Gut supplement from The Cosmix and it ruined my skin. My face was full of painful cystic acne. Once I stopped consuming it, my acne totally disappeared.

And Deconstrcut Vitamin C serum helped me so much in treating the marks. After weeks of usage, I noticed a visible change in appearance. My skin looked clearer and brighter with an improved appearance. The texture of my skin felt so smooth and soft after a month or so.

It even helped me in treating after-sun damage. Even though my sunscreens have been working great for me be it UV Doux or ISDIN, but, if I am under peak sun, my skin tends to get red a little.

This Vitamin C serum from Deconstrcut helped me treat the redness and post-sun damage in no time. I remember coming from Voting Day and my face was so red and was itching a little. I was standing in queue for some time under the peak sun and my sensitive skin eventually started turning red even though I was fully covered in sunscreen.

The sunscreen did help me protect my skin from burning and rashes but I could feel my skin reacting to heat.

The serum in no time treated the effects and my skin was back to normal. If you are someone with skin sensitivity, this serum from Deconstruct is going to help you so much in treating the everyday damage.

I even saw this video that randomly popped up on my feed on YouTube where he was comparing a bunch of Vitamin C serums and the one from Deconstruct actually passed the test. And this was after I bought and started using the serum.

Now that I am about to finish this one, I can confirm that it has been my best purchase so far when it comes to Vitamin C serums. From texture to suitability, to results, it’s a complete 10/10.

I like the fact that it is not a shady Brand and is totally upfront with its ingredients.

Deconstruct Vitamin C serum is a part of my morning skincare routine. For the night, I use The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner on alternate nights and The Deconstruct Retinol twice a week.

I feel so good when I buy something and it works way beyond my expectations.

Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum Review 7

I think it slightly worked on the unevenness I had around my lips and nose. That unevenness comes and goes depending on my diet and hormones. I did notice a slight reduction in unevenness around the lips. It’s not like it completely disappeared but the change was visible.

I feel if I stick to Deconstruct Vitamin C serum for around 3-4 bottles, it will change my skincare game.

Do I Pair Deconstruct Vitamin C serum with any other actives?

I don’t. Even if it can be I prefer to use my serums one at a time.

Did Deconstruct Vitamin C serums clog pores?

No, it did not. It worked great for my sensitive skin.

Did Deconstruct Vitamin C serum work on fading marks?

It definitely did and even faster than expected. It worked on the acne marks and even treated the post-sun redness.

Summing Up

It’s a complete 10/10!

Deconstruct Vitamin C Serum Review – Deconstruct Vitamin C serum worked so good for my sensitive and acne-prone skin. It is one of the best Vitamin C serums I have tried and even better than Nykaa Vitamin C serum. It is non-sticky and does not cause any breakouts. It helped fade the acne marks and treat the Sun damage. It improved appearance and skin texture over time. Definitely worth it.
