Review: My Complete Experience with Cosmix Superfood Products

The reason I decided to try Cosmix Superfood is that they provided a way to introduce herbs into our everyday routine. I am someone who loves having herbs and making them a part of my life. I have dedicated a shelf at my home to herbal tea.

No wonder when I saw Cosmix on Instagram, I was intrigued and decided to explore more about it.

At that very moment, the Brand Cosmix sent this positive and clean energy that I decided to try their products. I saw cute little jars on their website and how they were formulated with only plant-based natural herbs. Their website listed each and every detail regarding the product and I made up my mind to just go with it.

In this article, I will be sharing my complete experience with Cosmix products, their pros and cons, and everything. I will not be leaving any part of my experience behind. So if you have been looking for an honest review of Cosmix herbal blends and whether you should consider buying them, this article is definitely going to help you.

When I first tried Cosmix Products

I first tried Cosmix in August 2022. I ordered their two products on August 15, 2022 – Healthy Hair and Love Your Liver.

Cosmix products are available at Amazon and on their website.

The reason I went ahead with the Love Your Liver variant is that I had Grade 1 Fatty liver at that time and I could not think of a better option than Cosmix to detox my liver naturally.

I don’t drink, I don’t smoke. But I was a big-time foodie. No doubt my eating habits affected my hormones and health. So while I decided to try Cosmix with their Liver blend, I also picked up the Healthy Hair blend. Anything that can add to my hair health is a bonus.

I started drinking both the blends daily as suggested on the jars and here is what I felt.

Cosmix Healthy Hair Review

I liked the color. I liked the taste. But I finished the entire jar and did not notice a thing. I am not talking about hair growth here. I was hoping for some improvement in my hair texture.

Living in Delhi NCR means your skin and your hair will be severely affected by pollution and if something helps in reducing the pollution damage and improving the hair quality, I would know that.

I finished the entire jar of Cosmix Healthy Hair and no sign of improvement. No Results. I was disappointed a little but I was not mad about it because at least it did not ruin anything for me.

It was an herbal blend, and it did not work as I hoped – no problem. At least there were no side effects.

Cosmix Love Your Liver Review

The taste was not at all bad. I won’t say it turned into a delicious drink but considering it is a mix of herbs, it was quite decent. However, it did notice that both the powders had some difficulty in mixing. I had to use a mini frother to mix all the powder chunks.

I regularly consumed Liver blends and made them a part of my routine. I finished the entire jar, and I did not notice any side effects but I was not entirely sure if it made any positive impact.

I did not notice any major change in bloating levels or skin appearance but it still felt good so I liked it. The ingredients have Milk thistle which helps heal and detox your liver so I was happy consuming it. I did not restock it because I was not sure if it was helping plus, they were costly.

I tried Cosmix for the Second Time

A part of me still wanted to experience the good of Cosmix superfoods. I wanted to see what’s the hype about so on January 2, 2023, I decided to try other variants and I bought My Happy Gut and What Women Want.

I am always looking for ways to keep my gut active and healthy. I even consumed Yakult for weeks but it contains a lot of sugar so I stopped it. Cosmix Gut blend looked like a better alternative and I decided to go with it. On the other hand their What Women Want focused on balancing hormones so why not.

Cosmix My Happy Gut Review (January 2023)

I opened that jar and I made the drink and with the first sip, I started questioning my decisions. It TASTED SO BAD!

I consume herbal teas, I consume Green tea on an everyday basis and I love it. I drink Daruharidra on an everyday basis and it tastes so bitter. The reason I am telling you this is that I am fully aware of herbal blends tasting not-so-well but the My Happy Gut drink tasted so bad and bitter I can not even explain.

I was not ready to give up because of bad taste so I continued with it and drank it every morning on an empty stomach. To my surprise, it actually started showing great results.

My mind accepted the taste and by the time I finished my jar, my bloating was reduced, it worked on water retention, and it improved digestion. I was genuinely impressed with My Happy Gut at that very moment.

Cosmix What Women Want Review

The drink turned into bright beetroot red and I was like – this is going to be fun. I had a first sip and I liked the taste. It tasted somewhat like Vanilla and even my Mother had this drink a few times.

I regularly consumed the drink but I started noticing weight gain. I could feel that bulkiness.

I checked up with my Gynae who is an Ayurvedic practitioner and she mentioned that Shatavri is an ingredient that can promote weight gain in some individuals, especially around breasts in females that eventually helps with milk production.

It might be possible that the dose of the ingredient was more than what my body required.

I managed to finish the entire jar and I don’t know if I witnessed any noticeable positive changes.

I tried Cosmix Products for the third and for the last time

I will tell you why this was my final attempt with Cosmix products. Brace yourself.

Cosmix My Happy Gut Review (March 2024)

In February 2024 I randomly decided to start drinking My Happy Gut again and this time I was prepared to make it a part of my routine by buying it continuously.

I received the jar, made my drink, and noticed a huge change in taste. It was not that bitter at all. It looked like they worked on taste and also bendability because the powder was mixed within seconds without forming any chunks or lumps. I did not even use a frother to blend it.

I started taking the drink daily and noticed a positive change in my digestion levels. I was impressed that Cosmix actually worked on their products and made them better. I finished my jar and ordered a second one along with Bring Me Bliss and Love Your Liver (Yes, again).

This was my third jar of Cosmix Happy Gut. I was drinking it as usual but I started seeing a huge increase in cystic acne on my face.

I changed my skincare, changed my cleansers, and even bought new facial towels, I even started washing my face with RO water because it was not just one or two acne, my whole face started showing red cystic pimples. You can imagine my stress levels at this point.

I had no idea that the product that I consumed in the past with great results could be the victim. I looked for recent reviews and people actually shared that My Happy Gut gave them acne.

I stopped consuming it and my skin eventually got better.

How on earth I would suspect something that is completely plant-based, is made to improve gut health, and has been tried and tested. One guy on Amazon shared that he has bought this continuously but this time it tasted worse.

What does it imply? Cosmix are not consistent with their formulations?

Cosmix Bring Me Bliss Review

Trying this product was a lesson for me that I should take this lightly and should experiment with health supplements. Here is what happened –

I am someone with a history of depression and anxiety. I used to have panic attacks frequently. I was able to manage my mental health with meditation and journaling but I still get anxiety attacks once in a while, especially when surrounded by a crowd.

Bring Me Bliss had huge positive reviews and it looked like this was exactly what I needed. I made my drink with 1/4th of a spoon as suggested and it turned into this beautiful blue concoction and it tasted so good. With hints of vanilla, I simply loved having it.

Within an hour of drinking, I experienced extreme calmness. As if my mind was finally relaxed. I simply loved that moment of calmness. No thoughts wandered into my mind – no overthinking – nothing. It actually worked like a magic. At least I thought so.

Within 2 hours of drinking, I started feeling sleepy. It felt like my mind was losing its focus and ability to do any work. A numbness was sort of there and I just wanted to get a good sleep.

I couldn’t even look at my phone. Doing any screen work was giving me a headache.

I lay down to take a nap and started feeling jitters and palpitations in my body. Soon I started to have this un-easiness and GOD knows what was happening with me but I started to feel restlessness.

It felt like my mind and body were trying so hard to work but also trying hard to sleep.

I took a walk around the house, drank a glass of water, and sat down with my eyes closed and it felt like I was losing something. I was unable to sleep but neither couldn’t keep my eyes open.

The product says it helps you clear your mind but I felt myself totally out of mind – out of balance – out of everything. I did not have the energy to do any work physically or mentally. I decided to avoid my gym to be on the safer side and somehow managed to sleep.

I am not kidding, I had the worst nightmares. My entire sleep was full of scary and tense dreams. It was not peaceful at all.

I woke up so tensed and full of anxiety.

Later, I started feeling numbness in my hands. I was getting frustrated. Every time someone talked to me I was getting irritated. My mind was still not able to focus. I had trouble staying awake and fresh.

I was troubled to keep my eyes open. Every time I moved my head I was getting dizzy.

Having Cosmix Bring Me Bliss was the worst experience of my life. The next morning, I felt as if I had come home alive and safe from a different dimension.

Will I be consuming my second jar of Cosmix Love Your Liver?

Should I? After this experience, I really don’t want to. My recent buy of Happy Gut gave me cystic acne and ruined my skin. Bring me bliss legit took away my bliss. I don’t want to experiment with my liver even though I had a decent experience with my previous purchase.

I might drink it once in a while to avoid any side effects if any but I won’t be touching the other two again and I definitely won’t spend my money on Cosmix.

Have I tried Cosmix Protein Powder?

No, and I don’t plan to. With their inconsistency and after what I have experienced, I don’t want to experiment any more with Cosmix. I was thinking a while back to try their Skin blend after they got in Shark Tank India but no, thank you.
