I have been procastinating, thanks to Google! 🥲

The reason I am procastinating is simply because my mind has been occupied with Google’s recent practices of pushing our website down to page 3, page 4, and beyond and using the content to train their AI Overviews resulting in heavy loss of traffic. Google is literally killing our blogs and businesses.

The AI is inevitable now. I can only tune my work accordingly. 🙃 Same reason, I put a watermark and a little text on the featured image. Because Google AI Overviews been picking images from my article without actually linking to my article.

Anyway, this article ain’t about my frustation against Google’s evil practices.

This is about my take on Simple Skincare’s Vitamin C Facial Wash. If you have been looking for an honest experience with this face wash, you are on the right page.

This is such a great face wash for everyday use and for all the skin types. It has a runny gel like consistency and yet doesn’t feel like jelly or slippery against the skin. It deep cleanses and washes out all the dullness due to sweat, oil, and pollution. Results in clear, oil-free, bright, and definitely glowy skin.

Is this facewash cruelty-free?

Yes. Simple, the entire Brand is vegan and PETA Approved.

Is it only for dry/oily skin?

No, all the skin types can use it. It is not too mild nor too dry. It doesn’t leave any soft soapy layer behind nor it strips the mositure off the skin. Perfect for daily use.

I have sensitive and acne-prone skin. Can I use it?

100%. I have acne-prone and eczema skin and Simple is one of the brand I trust for my skin sensitivity. If you too got skin concerns, this face wash or any Simple product won’t trigger it for sure.

Review in Detail – Simple Skincare Protect and Glow Vitamin-C Face Wash

My Skin Type: Combination to Oily in Summer Season and Dry in Winters. Sensitive and acne-prone skin with a history of eczema and rosacea.

Packaging

It comes in a squeezable tube with a flip-flop cap. It easy to store and use but if you are travelling, I’ll advice carry it in a washbag to be on a safer side.

Fragrance

There is no particular fragrance as such. It just feels a mix of ingredients only if I pay close attention to it. If you prefer some kind of scent to your products, this facewash may not appeal you.

Runny gel-like consistency

I start by squeezing a coin sized amount. It has a transparent runny gel like consistency and I immedialy compared it to Simple Refreshing Face Wash in my mind. But, the feel against the skin is not at all like the refreshing gel variant.

This one, the Vitamin C face wash, foams up immediately and doesn’t feel mild or jelly like at all. It cleans well and wipes off all the sweat, dust, and excess oil leaving skin super clean and bright.

Leaves skin oil-free, fresh, and bright

It doesn’t leave any slippery or soapy layer behind and nor it dries up the skin with constant use.

It is neither too jelly-like nor too intense foaming like those from The Face Shop. It’s deep cleanses removing all the sweat and impurities leaving the skin fresh and clean.

This Simple Vitamin C facewash is being so much helpful especially in these Mid-June days. It gives a refreshing feeling while removing all the greasiness that comes with sweat and oil.

It doesn’t directly target acne nor it worked on any active acne. But it definitely stopped the oil-heads and clogged pores from forming.

Washed away dullness that comes with oil and sweat

As far as the brightning and glowing claims goes. Well, at first I did not notice much in terms of brightning up but it definitely dealt with the dullness that comes with heavy sweating and heat.

After a month or so, my skin does feel like it’s brightned up with visible glow. This, howver, I feel is not something a long-lasting effect. It is ideal if you are looking for a brightning facewash only to deal with the everyday dullness.

If you are wondering it can replace your Vitamin-C serum and if it will deliver the same results, then no, it won’t. This facewash won’t replace your vitamin-c serum.

Suits my sensitive skin

As far as the question of suitability for my acne-prone skin goes, I have no reason to doubt Simple. I did not experience any breakouts, acne, dryness, clogged-pores, or any other allergies. It worked completely fine for my sensitive and acne-prone skin.

There were absolutely no side-effects.

Yes. No Doubt. It foams-up well removing all the excess oil, heavy sweating, and the dullness that comes with it leaving my skin super fresh and clean.

No, it does not. It only targets the dullness that comes with pillution and excess oil. If your concern is to remove tan, O3+ mask might be what you are looking for.
