Cetaphil by Galderma is a brand that is trusted worldwide by sensitive skin people. It is one of the brands recommended by skin doctors because it is specially designed for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Being a sensitive skin person, I decided to grab Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion which is for Dry Sensitive Skin. The terms Non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, non-greasy, and dermatologist recommended attracted me the most.
The formula of the Cetaphil products is free from fragrance and is non-comedogenic, that is, it doesn’t contain any ingredient which can clog pores.

Review – Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Sensitive Skin
My Skin Type: Combination to Oily, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin
Packaging: It comes with a squeezable plastic bottle with a flip-flop cap and a nozzle to dispense the product. The product has all the labels required and I feel the packaging is travel-friendly and handy too.
Fragrance: It has a very weird medicated kind of fragrance. Not extremely pleasant I will say. It somewhere relates to the smell of bitter almonds lol.
My Experience
Although it says it is for the body and can be used all over the body, I purposely bought it for my face. Also, I feel this tiny bottle of body lotion will be costly.

You must be wondering why being an oily skin person I bought a moisturizer that says for “dry skin”. The reason is, that my skin, being extremely sensitive, goes through dryness and flakiness seasonally, and for that purpose, I always keep a rich hydrating moisturizer on my shelf.
The texture of this Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion is soft and smooth, easy to apply and massage on the skin, and leaves skin soft and healthily moisturized. I used this lotion as my day and night cream.

After continuously using this lotion for around a week or 10 days, I noticed that dryness and flakiness are healing. My skin started to look healthy and hydrated. It worked fantastically on my dryness.
Later, during the season change, when my skin started getting oily, this Moisturizing Lotion from Cetaphil started to make my skin look dull and shiny. As the extreme summer season arrived, my skin was producing more oils, so, for obvious reasons, this lotion didn’t work well for my oily skin during summers but in winters, it worked pretty awesomely when I faced dryness and it actually healed my skin. All that dry, rough, patchiness was gone.
I also asked my mother to try this lotion because she is a Sahara desert dry skin person and she absolutely loved this lotion throughout the year. Her dry skin started to look much more healthy with a natural glow. So for dry skin people, it is a HIT product.
