Maybelline Lash Sensational and Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara Review

I wanted to try the two most loved and raved mascaras which are Maybelline Lash Sensational and L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara for a long time. I love how mascaras complete the look. They add length, volume, and intensity to our lashes.

I have seen a lot of people over social media mentioning that these are their absolute favorite and they love it over a lot of other mascaras.

I have tried and tested these mascaras to see if they are actually worth the hype or in simpler terms if they work for me.

I am a person who only prefers lightweight mascaras with separating and volumizing effects. I am not much a fan of dramatic mascaras which makes my lashes look spidery and heavy. I like it natural, lifted, and curled.

When I first tried this mascara, within seconds the coating dried and It made the application slightly tough. Because the mascara was already dried on the lashes, I was not able to add a second coat.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review

Upon noticing the difference, I noticed that slightly lifted and curled my lashes which was good but, I also noticed that there were clumps and my lashes were not separated. Upon drying completely, my lashes were clumpy and were feeling a bit heavy on my eyes.

I was actually able to feel that there is something on my lashes that made me a little comfortable.

Turned out, it was not the kind of mascara I prefer.

Talking about the staying power, then it is really good, it stays until you take it off as it is highly waterproof. The waterproof level of this mascara is really strong as compared to other waterproof mascaras. It won’t come off easily with micellar water or a makeup eraser. You will need an oil-based remover to melt it and take it off.

Even though it is jet black, has a good staying power, I ended up not liking it all because it made my lashes look clumpy and heavy.

2. L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara

Review – Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara

This is considered a dupe for TooFaced Better than Sex Mascara. Even the packaging is almost similar.

The way it worked for me is completely similar to how Maybelline lash sensational mascara worked. This too, like the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, made my lashes clumpy and a bit heavy.

The only difference is, it is slightly more lengthening as compared to Maybelline lash sensational mascara and is less waterproof.

Apart from this, I didn’t notice any such difference. Because I do not prefer heavy mascaras, I didn’t like it as much I was expecting.

HUDA Beauty Legit Lash Mascara
SUGAR Cosmetics Uptown Curl Mascara

All three are lightweight, don’t form clumps, separates the lashes for volumizing effect and I simply love my lashes with these mascaras.

Summing Up

Both, the Maybelline Lash Sensational and L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara are waterproof mascaras and provide a good lengthening and curled effect. But, at the same time they are not of my preference as they don’t separate my lashes in order to make them voluminous instead, they made my lashes a bit clumpy and heavy. If you like dramatic mascaras, you might like them.
