Review – Matrix Liquid Protein Conditioner
My Hair Type: Oily Scalp and Dry Ends
Packaging: It comes in a squeezable vibrant pink tube which is a theme for their Liquid Protein range. It has a flip-flop cap with all the necessary details mentioned on the back.

Fragrance: It has got a strong fruity scent but only when I sniffed it. Wasn’t much noticeable while using it on the hair.
My Experience
Since my teenage days, L’Oreal has been my constant when it comes to hair care. For years I relied on Total Repair 5 Shampoo. Later, I got curious to try what is new in the market but everytime, I always came back to L’Oreal. Recently, L’Oreal introduced Dream Lengths and Hyaluronic range which I have been using for sometime now and absolutely loved it.

I also use Head and Shoulder Neem shampoo everytime I oil my hair or feel that my hair and scalp is too greasy and I really love the results. That feeling of a fresh clean scalp is unbeatable especially if you deal with oily scalp.
But I can’t deny the fact it is on the stronger side resulting in slightly dry hair which is why it is really important for me to have a rich conditioner for those soft and voluminous hair. When my Hyaluronic Conditioner was over and I was scrolling Nykaa to see what else I can try, I saw this new launch from Matrix and immediately decided to buy it.

I started using it just how we use our conditioner and while washing off, I felt this beautiful softness on my hair. It looked like there is a silicone layer on my hair strands. It felt like I have used a professional salon conditioner or something. I legit enjoyed that moment and it got me so excited I am not kidding.
After I dried my hair, I noticed that my hair strands aren’t looking that manageable and neither feeling any soft. Within a few hours, my hair looked so dull, dehydrated, damaged, and all over the places. It was like I never had luminous hair.
My hair next day looked so damaged I can’t express. My hair strands looked really rough. Because it was the first time, I gave it the benefit of doubt. I considered maybe its the weather or I might have not kept for long enough.

After giving it multiple trials, I am sure that Matrix Liquid Protein Conditioner isn’t working for me at all. I even noticed some hairfall on third or fourth attempt. I had to order my L’Oreal Hyaluronic Conditioner again as I couldn’t see my hair looking this damaged.
I don’t know if it is just me or anyone else experienced the same but Matrix Liquid Protein Conditioner was a total disappointment for me.
