I was casually roaming in the grocery store when I saw these Himalaya Purifying Neem Facial Wipes and I was like this looks interesting. It is from the Brand Himalaya which is an all-time hit and it is from their purifying neem range. I picked up the small variant of 10 wipes only to be on the safer side. Didn’t want to waste my money!

To be honest, Himalaya Purifying Neem Facial Wipes didn’t perform as I expected. I am going to share my whole experience on these wipes here so if you are looking for Himalaya Neem Wipes Review, you are on the right page.

My Skin Type: Combination to Oily in Summers, Dry in Winters, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin

Packaging: This comes in a standard wipes packaging where you pull off the seal, take out the wipe, and close it back.

Fragrance: Himalaya’s famous purifying neem orange fragrance. I still remember that refreshing fragrance when I first started using the purifying neem face wash. These wipes have the exact same refreshing fragrance.

My Experience

I took out the first wipe and the very first thing I noticed was, it isn’t that moist. It felt like they lost some of their moisture and while I was cleaning my face with it, I felt like I am using a dry wipe.

I could only feel the wetness or the moisture in the wipe when there were hardly any 2 wipes left. I thought maybe it is just a batch but a lot of people on Nykaa mentioned the same issue that wipes aren’t wet. Maybe it is their formulation or the packaging is not able to retain the moisture.

The next thing I noticed was that no doubt, they wiped off all the sweat and excess oil around the nose but there wasn’t that refreshing or fresh and clean feel. On top of that, there was some sort of stickiness left behind on my face.

A few seconds later I felt a tingling or a little bit of itch on my face. Not that my face was on fire or something and neither there was an allergy or redness or breakouts, nothing. There was just a tiny sensation of itch which I couldn’t figure out why. And that happened every single time I used the wipe.

I started to feel on a serious level that maybe I got the wrong batch and even doubted myself that, did I picked an expired or near-to-expiry product. Because I always check dates before buying anything. Luckily, everything was all good.

Next thing I know that a lot of people actually mentioned the same points that I have been feeling. That stickiness, that itch, most of the people felt that with Himalaya Purifying Neem Facial Wipes.

Thank GOD I didn’t buy the full-sized one. I haven’t tried the simple micellar wipes yet but I do feel that they are a better option if you are looking for everyday wipes.

Summing Up

Himalaya Purifying Neem Facial Wipes didn’t work as expected. They weren’t moist enough and left the face a bit sticky. They did wipe out all the excess oil and sweat but there wasn’t that fresh or clean feel. I also noticed a bit of itch a few seconds later. Nothing allergy-wise, but there was that minor tingling sensation. No breakouts luckily.
