My Instagram went crazy over Faces Canada 3 in 1 Foundation and literally every other was talking about it and how much they loved it. I was casually looking for a lightweight everyday kind of foundation that doesn’t need a lot of effort and is more like a CC cream. Lakme CC cream is already my absolute favorite which I have already restocked but I also wanted to explore other options.
Because Faces Canada 3 in 1 Foundation mentioned its moisturizing properties and a lot of consumers said that they didn’t feel a need for a moisturizer with this, I felt like this might be exactly what I am looking for.

My Skin Type: Combination to Oily in Summer, Dry in Winter, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin

Packaging: It comes in a black-theme squeezable bottle with a tiny nozzle to dispense the product in a controlled way which I find super helpful.
Fragrance: No Particular Fragrance as such.
My Experience
Because my concern was to have an effortless everyday foundation for which I do not need any heavy blending and I will just go on applying it like my moisturizer, I used the Faces Canada 3 in 1 Foundation exactly the same. That is, I took a little amount, dotted it all over my face, and started blending it in evenly.
I was under the impression that it is a matte foundation so the texture is going to be a little tough to work with and it won’t be easy to blend straight with fingers but surprisingly, true to the claim, it does have a silky smooth texture and it was so easy and beautiful to blend.
No rough strokes, no foundation patches, nothing! I immediately fell in love with the texture and the way it blended on my skin.
It felt absolutely lightweight on my skin and didn’t even feel like there is a foundation sitting on my face. The thing is, the shade didn’t go exactly like what I had in my mind. It is slightly lighter than my requirement but once blended, it completely settles in.
Faces Canada 3 in 1 Foundation is a light to semi-medium coverage foundation. It provides more coverage when blended with a brush or sponge but it wasn’t exactly my shade and I wanted to keep a light layer, I went with minimal coverage only providing an even finish and a brighten up look.
Now a lot of people shared that they didn’t feel the need to use their moisturizer along with the Faces Canada 3 in 1 Foundation but when I used it without my moisturizer, my skin felt so dry and even the foundation didn’t look good. I almost didn’t like the foundation because of the way the texture looked on my skin.
Then I prepped my skin with my moisturizer and then I followed with my Faces Canada 3 in 1 Foundation and I loved the results. Lightweight, non-drying, with a required level of matte.

Surprisingly, when I used my Faces 3 in 1 foundation on colder days, the shade seems to match really well. And I even thought that a matte foundation will look duller and make my skin drier during winter days but its smooth and silky texture and non-drying properties go really well in winter as well.
Now I use it like my lightweight everyday foundation as well where I take a little amount and blend it with my fingers and sometimes, I take a decent amount and work with my blending brush. Whichever way my mood feels. It looks pretty both ways.

Final Thoughts
Faces Canada 3 in-1 foundation is a lightweight everyday foundation with light to semi-medium coverage. The texture is super smooth and silky to work with and blends beautifully with fingers only. It provides a non-drying semi-matte finish which I absolutely love and doesn’t create any rough dry foundation patches. Results in an even and brightened-up look. It is a 3 in 1 but a moisturizer is a must before applying the foundation else it feels dry and dull.
