Review – Beard Hood Charcoal Peel-off Mask
My Skin Type: Combination to Oily, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin
My Personal Favourites
Niharika X NykaaPackaging: It comes in a squeezable plastic tube with a flip-flop cap and a tiny nozzle, having all the details and labels on it. Packaging is mess-free and travel-friendly.
Fragrance: Has a mild aromatic fragrance which is only noticeable if you sniff it. Not at all bothering or Irritating.
My Experience
The moment I opened it and started squeezing out the product, it took half of my energy. The consistency of this charcoal blackhead peel-off mask is so weird that it just doesn’t come out easily. I squeezed the tube with all my power and even then, It squeezed only half a pea-size amount.
Moving forward, I took that pea-sized amount and started applying it on my nose, and next what I see is the mask is rolling and balling on my skin and just doesn’t decide to be applied easily. The texture and consistency of this charcoal peel-off mask are somewhat like slime. Not a great experience!

Somehow, I managed to apply the mask all over my nose and allowed it to try for 15-20 minutes. It caused no tingling, itching, or burning sensation, luckily.
After it got completely dry, I started peeling it off from the ends. The amount of tingling sensation while peeling off is similar to those blackhead removing nose strips so I was expecting it to do a good job but to my surprise, it did nothing.
Except for taking out a bit of dead skin and hair, it did nothing. Though my nose was feeling nice and oil-free, I didn’t get the results I was expecting.
On the other hand, Blackhead removing Nose Strips from Hip Hop or Cameleon works way better. I can actually see gunk, oil-heads, and black-heads on those strips. After finding the product hard to squeeze out and then not getting results, all I can think about is the money wasted on this product. Luckily, I didn’t get any rash or redness after the use.
Summing Up
Beard Hood Charcoal Blackhead Peel-off Mask did nothing. The product is hard to squeeze out, not easy to apply, and does nothing. The good part is it is free from harsh chemicals and causes no skin irritation but to me, it is of no use.
Pros
- No paraben, Sulfate, and Silicon
- No Skin Irritation
Cons
- Not easy to squeeze out the product
- Not easy to apply
- Does nothing
