SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion Review 10 Latte
I always wanted to try the cushion foundation as I don’t know why but it always kind of looked satisfying to me. The finish always looked so skin-like and radiant. When I got a chance, I got myself SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion in the shade 10 Latte.

Though it is not a cushion foundation, it is a BB Cushion, to be exact, but I got the cushion and that is what I always wanted to have. Now because SUGAR Cosmetics is a trusted brand and they stay away from parabens, I thought why not give this a go.

Review – SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion 10 Latte

My Skin Shade – Light with cool/neutral undertone. NC25.
My Skin Type – Combination to Oily in Summers, Dry in Winters, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin.
Packaging: It comes a sleek compact kind packaging in its default black color. The closure has a magnetic touch to it. Right after you open, there is a case on top of which your applicator stays, and right beneath is your cushion foundation. You simply need to lift your applicator tray to have access to the foundation. It also comes with an in-built mirror. Not the best in quality I’ll say but not bad either.

Fragrance: No noticeable fragrance as such.
My Experience
The very first thing I noticed while applying is you need to press a little harder your applicator onto the foundation to take the product on your applicator.
Next, I started dabbing the BB Cushion over my face starting with the cheeks and I noticed it delivers light coverage only but still gives an even finish with a radiance. I really liked that skin like soft finish.

It doesn’t seem to minimize the appearance of pores or lines as it says in its description if looked closely but because it does deliver an even skin-like finish, I liked the overall finished look.

Now, soon after application, my face started to feel heavy, oily, and greasy. I thought some loose powder will be a fix to it but nope, within 10 minutes, my face looked like a greased turkey and it felt so heavy. So heavy, that I couldn’t bear and I had to take it off.
It also started moving and was getting collected around lines. It looked so weird.
I really don’t know why SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion made my skin look and feel so heavy, oily, and greasy even after it claims to absorb the excess serum.

I really liked the finish of this SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion initially but soon it started to feel so heavy on my face. Because it looked so oily, it turned into some super cakey and heavy makeup finish.
Maybe SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion isn’t for Oily Skin People. That is the only time I tried it and it is my drawer since then.
Shade 10 Latte –

Talking about the shade 10 Latte in SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion, it is slightly, a little bit on the warmer side for people with cool or neutral skin tones. But right after blending, it all looked fine. Most of the SUGAR Cosmetics Shades are on either yellow or warmer side.
Because I couldn’t wear it for long, I can not comment if SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion breaks out or oxidizes. Wish it worked on me.
Summing Up…
SUGAR Power Clay SPF20 BB Cushion offers light coverage with soft skin finish but soon it turned heavy, oily, and greasy on my skin. So heavy that it looked like heavy cakey makeup and I had to take it off within 10 minutes of the application. It didn’t work on me with the help of loose powder either. The product was moving and getting collected around the lines. The shade 10 Latte is slightly on the warmer side but looks all fine once blended.
