Packaging: It comes in a luxurious glassy tub/jar with aqua blue shade on it. The lid is of screw type and tight enough to secure the product.

The jar has information such as expiry date, price, and customer care information so even if you throw away the carton, you’ll have the information with you.

Now the thing is, the packaging has all Chinese written over it but the sticker placed on it says made in Korea. I don’t what is going on here but the reason I don’t like having Chinese made skincare or makeup is they never work the way US or Korean batch works. I have experienced this so many times. If it is actually Korean Made, awesome. But then why it says all Chinese all over it?!

Fragrance: So divine. I mean, seriously, it smells all aqua and it feels so refreshing. I really enjoyed it.

My Experience

I start by applying it on my clean face and notice the soft and smooth texture. The consistency is a little bit on the runnier side but is easy to apply and massage all over the face.

It gets absorbed within seconds and instantly adds a boost of nourishment. I literally felt that softness and suppleness post-application.

It leaves a soft layer on the face which makes my skin super smooth to touch. Like there was a noticeable layer of porcelain on my skin. 😀

The texture of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is lightweight and oil-free which makes it a perfect moisturizer for combination to oily skin. I used it day and night and never ever felt any greasiness or heaviness with this moisturizer on.

It doesn’t make the face sticky as well which a plus point. The moisturization intensity is I guess appropriate for oily skin people. It moisturizes without making the skin heavy and oily.

I didn’t noticed any reactions or breakouts with this moisturizer. I was actually worried thinking that if it is made in china it might cause me problems but it worked out pretty good.

It forms the perfect, well-hydrated base for makeup application as well.

It also contains Hyaluronic Acid and I really like having Hyaluronic Acid in my Skincare Routine.

Now the Brand suggests keeping using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer for up to 3 months to completely transform your skin as it will work on the moisture level and skin texture of your skin to make it better in long run but given the quantity, the single tub won’t last for about 3 months I feel.

In case you are wondering, the moisture level might not be enough for super dry skin people. But still, it depends on personal liking as well. If you love lightweight oil-free moisturizers for your dry skin, you going to love it.
