OMG! This Nykaa Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo just smells like the Sunsilk Shampoos. The fragrance, the texture, everything. I have finished this bottle till the last drop and I think I am going to try some more variants from Nykaa Naturals Shampoo.
And in case you are wondering if I have tried WOW Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo then, No, I haven’t tried it and to be honest, I don’t get much positive and quality vibes from the Brand either. I don’t know but it looks shady to me.

Review – Nykaa Nykaa Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo
My Hair Type – Oily throughout the Year and Super Oily, Greasy, and Frizzy in Winters
Packaging: Comes in an opaque color-themed bottle with a press-button nozzle. Initially, I really liked the nozzle but as the product was about to over, It became quite a job. Eventually, I had to unscrew the cap and take it out.
Fragrance: Just like Sunsilk. I mean I honestly don’t smell cider or ginger. I just smell Sunsilk Shampoos.
My Experience
The moment I felt the texture and fragrance, it reminded me of the Sunsilk Shampoo. I mean I get it at this point you must be like “yeah we get it! Get over this Sunsilk thing and move on” but really, even the shine is exactly like that.
Coming back to my experience with Nykaa Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo. I start by taking a decent amount and start massaging it onto my scalp. The next thing I noticed was the amount of lather is formed. I was blown away by that huge amount of lather. I like it when Shampoos and Hair Cleansers give me this foamy and lather kind of experience. It is simply so satisfying and gives me real nice deep-cleansing.
I have tried so many Hair Cleansers which are actually considered better than the regular foaming ones but they just don’t lather up and I mean, it is just so unsatisfying. It feels like my scalp isn’t getting clean. Tell me I ain’t the only one to feel that.

Once all done, I wash off with lukewarm water followed by a conditioner. I wasn’t expecting over-the-top results but the Nykaa Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo really shocked me with the results.
I allowed my hair to dry and no doubt, it beautifully cleansed my hair and scalp. I was legit feeling the clean and fresh scalp and hair. No residue of oil and grease was left behind.
But, what amazed me the most was the volume and density it added from the first use. Like there was legit noticeably density, volume, and bounce. I honestly became a fan of this Nykaa Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo from the first use.

To date, whenever I wash my hair it still gives me the same amazing result and I always enjoy that voluminous look.
One thing I feel is whenever I oiled my hair, it wasn’t able to remove it completely in one go. Now maybe because I have a really oily scalp but I love oiling my hair once in two weeks. On the other hand, my Mom, who has highly dry hair and scalp, faces no such problem.
I love using hair oils and I keep exploring authentic infused hair oils because I am really lazy when it comes to hair care and hair oiling is the only way to take care of my hair.
I, overall really loved the results. The way it smells, lather-up, cleans and results in soft voluminous hair. Totally impressing.
I am actually having both, this Nykaa Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Biolage Smoothing Shampoo on my shelf because the way Biolage makes my hair extremely baby soft, Nykaa doesn’t reach that level. And the way Nykaa makes my hair voluminous, dense, and bouncy, Biolage is not able to reach that.
It also claims to treat dandruff and I personally don’t suffer from dandruff issues but the way it cleans like it CLEANS, I am sure it is going to help you with dirt and dandruff issues. On the other hand, if you are dealing with an intense case of dandruff and hair fall, you should definitely consult a doctor first.
Talking about the Hair Growth claim, I think it is a really tall claim in itself and for a shampoo as well. So, I am going to pass on it haha!

I am really impressed with Nykaa Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo. The fragrance, texture, the way it lathers up, the way it deeply cleanses my scalp and hair, I just love the whole experience. It results in noticeably dense and voluminous hair which I enjoy about it. I like how my scalp feels clean after this. Love it!
