Niharika X NykaaDecember FAB BAG Unboxing and Review
This month’s fab bag is themed as “The Merry Indulgence” and the bag itself is red in color with white fur going on around the zip which looks like the Santa Hat. This is totally giving Christmas feels. The bag is of great quality with a zip closure and I liked it.
- DISGUISE Ultra-Comfortable Satin Matte Lipstick -01 Explorer
I was really surprised a bit when I received the makeup selection mail and I saw there ain’t a SUGAR Product and there was a new name i.e, DISGUISE Cosmetics. I haven’t heard of this name before. I went ahead and scrolled through the shades and there were all basic pinks, reds, and browns but I do understand because I have seen that this usually happens. The shade choices are always limited when a Brand comes up with a Makeup Product that is Vegan and Free from Paraben and Lead. I selected the shade “01 Explorer” which is a pink shade as I don’t wear red and brown makes me three times mature.
The packaging says the lipsticks are free from toxins and are enriched with Avocado and Marula Oil is known to soothe and heal lips keeping them healthy and hydrated. And yes, the lipsticks are Cruelty-Free, Vegan, and Free from Parabens and Lead.
The moment I received this in the fab bag, I was super-duper Impressed by the Packaging. It has such a cooling mint color going on the packaging which totally makes this unique from other default lipstick packaging. It has a frosty touch to it with a magnetic closure. I really loved it.
It is satin-matte lipstick and I personally love satin-mattes only. They give the matte look while being comfortable on the lips. I haven’t tried this on lips yet but while swatching, I was able to see the intense pigmentation. It went on smoothly and I loved the color as well. However, it doesn’t seem to be transfer-proof. But yes it leaves a nice tint behind even after fading off. I will definitely share lip swatches and my views on it on my Instagram.
- Spa Ceylon Ayurveda Cardamom Rose Intense Hand Cream
This is a Bonus Product as no Information is available about this on the card and there is no price mentioned as well. By the way, this will be the first-ever hand cream of my life. 😃 I have been using lotions only to moisturize my hands. I moisturize my hand a thousand times a day and because of that hand creams are way too costly for me. The number of times I moisturize my hands, my hand cream will be over in a week. 😂
The cream is light and soft on the hands. It was easy to massage and provided nourishment without being too greasy or sticky on the hands. Talking about the fragrance of this hand cream, it isn’t that refreshing but isn’t bad or heavy at all. It smells like a beautiful rose initially, followed by some ayurvedic herbs kind of fragrance. Will definitely use it. 😇 Also, I googled the pronunciation of “Ylang-Ylang” and it is pronounced as “EE-lang EE-lang”.
- Global Beauty Secrets Turkish Watermelon and Argan Oil Day Cream
I have heard a lot about this Brand from YouTubers so when I came to know there is going to be a product from Global Beauty Secret, I was excited. But the moment I read ” Watermelon and Argan Oil”, I was like “uh, oh! Argan Oil doesn’t work for my skin”. Argan Oil is no doubt great for hair but it has always given me bad pimples and clogged pores. Whenever I have used serums and creams having Argan Oil in it, it just didn’t work out for me. So I won’t be able to use this. But my Mommy doesn’t face any such issue and has been using Lakme Argan Oil Radiance Cream so I guess she will be able to use this one as well.
- Floh Tampons
There could be an option to choose from Pads or Tampons because I do not use them and I don’t plan to use them in the future. I know people are moving towards cups and tampons and people do have a great experience with these but, I have heard a majority of risky cases where this didn’t just work out. Plus I have a heavy flow and just cannot put myself at risk when it comes to period protection.
- Bliscent Hair Pack
I am the laziest person when it comes to mask for hair. For me, my hair care means oiling and shampoo, that’s it. 😃 Well, my brother is so much into hair care so I am pretty sure he will definitely give it a go. If you love using hair packs, here is one for you in December Fab Bag.
- Kronokare Pollu-Stop Face Mist
I will be honest, I have never had a great experience with Kronokare Products and they have always given me pimples. No doubt, their products do what it says or are effective up to some level but they always end up giving me a pimple. I have their sunscreen and it is super matte. It looks matte, it feels matte, so matte that it is a bit hard to massage in. If you have extremely oily skin, you are going to like that but again, I got pimples from it.
I already had a big bottle of Pollu-Stop Mist for both Face and Hair which I got through PR but the pump of Face Mist was broken so I couldn’t use it. This one which I received is a sample size and I really liked the spray. It works as a fine mist and not as a fountain. I tried it once and it went on good Initially but again, I got clogged pores later. I don’t know! I always get clogged pores and pimples after using any Kronokare Product.
