Colorbar 24HRS Weightless Liquid Foundation Review FW 2.1

Colorbar 24hrs Weightless Liquid Foundation has been on my list for a long time. I was patiently waiting to at least reach half a bottle of my Faces Second Skin Foundation. I tried the Colorbar Foundation in the store first to confirm my shade, and only then, did I order the shade FW 2.1 from Nykaa. Why didn’t I buy from the store? They were selling on Full MRP while Nykaa was selling on discount + freebies.

How to Use

Review – Colorbar 24HRS Weightless Liquid Foundation FW 2.1

My Skin Shade and Type: I am NC25. Combination to Oily Skin in Summer, Dry in Winter, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin.

Packaging: It comes in a beautiful-looking squeezable tube with a pump, secured by a glossy cap. It further comes in a box with all the details but I do not see ingredient list on the box. The details are available on Nykaa though. The tube and the pump are easy to use and mess-free.

Fragrance: No fragrance as such.

My Experience

I start by taking a pump on the back of my hand. I used to hate taking foundation on the back of my hand but it feels okay to me now.

Next, I dab small little dots all over my face and proceed with either a beauty sponge or a foundation brush. I use Samer Khouzami Beauty Sponge or a DU Care Foundation brush. Both are my personal favorites and do an awesome job of seamless blending.

This foundation blended so beautifully and seamlessly. There were no streaks, the texture and consistency were perfect to apply and blend even with the fingers, and true to the claim, it felt weightless on the skin. It didn’t clump, settle, or rolled on skin.

Colorbar 24HRS Weightless Liquid Foundation provided somewhere between medium to full coverage and I absolutely loved the finish and coverage this foundation provided. It doesn’t feel like I am wearing a foundation yet leaving my skin even-looking, covering the minor freaks and marks.

It says medium to buildable but I personally don’t like to layer up my skin. I adore that medium coverage finish and this foundation nails it.

It didn’t cover hyperpigmentation around my lips though but it did cover minor marks and acne scars well. I am not having major acne-scar issues, all thanks to MInimalist, so that was all sorted.

I didn’t wear Colorbar 24HRS Weightless Liquid Foundation for exactly 24hrs, obviously, but it did a really awesome job for all my outings and events. It stayed well, with no cracking up, and no oily-looking shine.

I now sometimes take half a pump of Colorbar 24HRS Weightless Liquid Foundation and dab it over my face and blend it with my fingers every time I head out with no heavy makeup and I love how my skin looks.

Plus point, it didn’t result in clogging up of pores or breakouts. I didn’t face any rashes or allergies.

I always prep my skin with my all-time favorite Aveeno Moisturizer and this foundation doesn’t feel heavy at all. I even further use MAC strobe cream sometimes and it still doesn’t act weird or feel heavy.

I am really impressed with Colorbar 24HRS Weightless Liquid Foundation. The staying power, coverage, finish, everything is up to my expectation.

Summing Up

Colorbar 24HRS Weightless Liquid Foundation is true to its claims and feels weightless on the skin. It blends beautifully and seamlessly without leaving streaks. Coverage is between medium to full and I how it makes my skin look. Love the lightweight texture and the way it blends. Leave my skin even looking covering minor marks. Doesn’t feel heavy and works for my oily and sensitive skin.
