Palmer’s Coconut Water Facial Moisturizer Review
My Skin Type: Combination to Oily in Summers, Dry in Winters, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin
Packaging: It comes in a glass jar with a screw cap – better than plastic containers. The jar itself comes in a cardboard box having all the details on it. The jar is transparent which is good because one can see how much the product is left and is travel-friendly. The jar has all the information except for the price and expiry date so if you lose the outer packaging, you lose the information lol!
Fragrance: OMG where to start with. I am obsessed with its fragrance. It smells like coconut toffee, barfi, or any food item made out of fresh coconuts. Such a beautiful and exciting fragrance it has. I love it!
The first thing I like about this palmer’s coconut water moisturizer is the packaging. I mean, I am okay with all kinds of packaging but the jar packaging is so easy to use. Especially in winters. Haha!
Because my skin gets super dry during winters, I knew it won’t going to hurt me in any way. No matter how rich the formulation is, it is going to work well with my dry skin.
I start by taking a tiny amount and massaging it all over the face. The first I notice is the instant glow and radiance. It added a healthy shine to my face which looks really dewy and beautiful and it actually lasts for long hours.
Coming to the texture, it feels like a lightweight and fluffed cream with a soft texture. If I look closely, it feels like it has some tiny coconut soft beads in it which melts while massaging onto the skin. It is so light that I even doubted if it is going to moisturize my dry skin but to my surprise, it is so effective in providing moisturization to dry skin.
I regularly used the Palmer’s Coconut Water Facial Moisturizer, day and night, with my Caladryl lotion, Recast Vitamin-C Serum, and YBP Plant Remedy and it works beautifully with any kind of skincare product. It didn’t give me a heavy feeling throughout the day.
Even after being an intense moisturizer, it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy at all. And, it works beautifully under makeup too.
With regular usage, I could notice the improvement in my skin texture. I could notice that healthy dewiness my skin was having. My skin was having a glow throughout the day.
Most importantly, my Mommy who is a super dry skin person throughout the year absolutely loved it. Palmer’s coconut water facial moisturizer worked so well on my mommy’s matured skin. It healed her dry skin and gave in really healthy and younger-looking skin. No doubt it improves the skin texture.
There were softness and suppleness on my cheeks, my skin had a glow, a beautiful dewy shine, and it looked hydrated and nourished. I didn’t felt any need to re-apply the moisturizer throughout the day.
It was like it not only moisturized my skin temporarily, it actually improved and healed the dryness.
Plus point is, it worked with my sensitive and acne-prone skin. I got no single breakout.
But, I am guessing this won’t work well during summers and the humid season for oily skin as it is an intense moisturizer. It can work as a night cream though during summers for oily skin.
Palmer’s Coconut Water Facial Moisturizer is the best moisturizer for dry skin. It is cruelty-free, has real ingredients, and heals the dry skin effectively resulting in improved skin texture. It adds an instant beautiful dewy glow, has a beautiful coconut fragrance, and is lightweight on the skin. It moisturizes without being heavy or sticky on the skin. With regular usage, it results in healthy-looking, glowy, and nourished skin.
