Loreal Clay Mask gained hyped the moment the launched. Thanks to Influencer Marketing! All over the Internet, I see people multi-masking with Loreal Pure Clay Masks. Not only this, but people were also actually loving these clay masks. A year or so later, I decided to try one of the Loreal Pure Clay Mask and went for the Red One which is the “Exfoliate and Refine Pores” variant.
I specifically bought the Exfoliate and Refine Pores variant because it stated that it is great to unclog pores, good for oily skin, and will minimize the enlarged pores. And yes, I do get congestion or clogged pores easily.
Let us see How Loreal Pure Clay Mask worked for me…

Review – Loreal Pure Clay Mask Red – Exfoliate and Refine Pores
My Skin Type: Combination to Oily in Summers, Dry in Winters, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin
Packaging: Loreal Pure Clay Mask Red Exfoliate and Refine Pores comes in a glass-tub with a screw lid. Totally safe to carry while traveling. It has a transparent body so you can see how much is left. Not a mess to use and store either.
Fragrance: It has fresh fennel seeds or mouth freshener kind of fragrance. 😃 I like it and didn’t find it heavy or bothersome.
Talking about the application first, it is super easy and smooth to apply. It is not a thick mixture that takes forever to spread and apply on the skin. Texture and consistency wise, I really like it.
Loreal Pure Clay Mask Red Exfoliate and Refine Pores have gritty exfoliating particles, not at all mild. I personally love strong and gritty exfoliators so I really liked it but in case you are all into mild scrubs, you may not like it. Those exfoliating particles do a nice job when washing off the mask.
Post application, it doesn’t turn into the solid rock which is nice lol. 😂 I was able to speak easily with the mask on.
After 20-25 minutes when the mask was fully dried, I started washing it off in circular motion so that the exfoliating particles can do their job. It really felt great! Those scrub particles did a nice job of exfoliation.
The mask is easy to take off as well and won’t take forever. The instant results were, as usual, that is a clean, oil-free, and fresh look on the face. There wasn’t something extraordinary or something special to notice like when you use Besan and Haldi Mask DIY, you can see your skin instantly brightened up with a beautiful glow.
Loreal Pure Clay Mask Red Exfoliate and Refine Pores didn’t do much as a mask but made my skin soft to touch because of those exfoliating particles. So the scrub part of it really does a nice job.
After the continuous usage, I didn’t see anything noticeable. There wasn’t much change on the clogged or enlarged pores or even the texture of the skin. And right after 3-4 uses, I hit the pan. Which shows the quantity is super less for the price paid.
The good part is, the Loreal Pure Clay Mask Red Exfoliate and Refine Pores didn’t lead to breakouts or pimples which is good. But it didn’t do anything especially for the price paid.
Turns out, the Loreal Pure Clay Mask Red Exfoliate and Refine Pores didn’t do anything special. There wasn’t much effect on the pores or texture of the skin. Apart from having an instant fresh and oil-free face, which is thereafter every time you mask, it didn’t do anything. The scrub particles did a nice job of giving a temporary soft to touch skin but overall, Loreal Pure Clay Red Mask didn’t do anything for me, or for my skin lol.
