November 2018 FAB BAG The Beauty Rituals Unboxing and Review

November Fab Bag is here and I am all set to unbox and share my views on the same. If you are on my Instagram then you must have already seen what is in the November 2018 FAB BAG. This month’s bag is themed “The Beauty Rituals” and is having two makeup and three skincare products. Let us get into details.

This month’s bag arrived late and on the top, to be very honest with you, when I saw unboxing videos, when I saw the color of the bag and curation, it sort of took my interest away. But still, I was excited because I knew there is going to be a new launch of SUGAR Cosmetics which was Born to Wing Gel Eye Liner. I was waiting for that blue gel liner. But I received their other newly launched product which is Coloured Kohl and I have tons of colored Kohl already. Anyways, let us get into the unboxing.

This month’s bag is themed “The Beauty Rituals” and is having two makeup (one full-size and one sample-size) and three skincare products (two full-size and one sample-sized). The quality of the bag is nice. It has a zip closure and a leather touch to it. It is spacious as well and can be used to carry or store your stuff. But the shimmer or glitter part of it is losing glitter particles everywhere. There were glitter particles on my hand, bedsheet, table, and everywhere. But the color of my bag is totally not my choice. 😄 I am not into these peachy coral kinds of colors.

1. SUGAR Stroke of Genius Heavy-Duty Kohl – 02 Purple Rain

There are two newly launched products by SUGAR Cosmetics in November Fab Bag. One is their Born to Wing Gel Liner and the other one is their colored kohl which is Stroke Of Genious Heavy-Duty Kohl. You will be receiving either one and I received their Coloured Kohl in the shade “Purple Rain” which is a very deep blueberry kind of purple along with its sharpener, yay! I love colored kohls and that is why I have so many already with me even in the purple and that Born to Wing Gel Liner was totally new to me. Yes, I am kind of upset that I didn’t receive that. 😄 I tried this and it went on smoothly on my eyelids but the color payoff is slightly less so you will need to build up the color.

2. SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Sample – 01 Brazen Raisin

When I first tried SUGAR Smudge Me Not Lipstick in Tan Fan, I was so worried that is going to be dry on my lips because I heard this a lot but honestly, it doesn’t feel that dry. In fact, it was not uncomfortable at all. If your lips are hydrated and nourished from within, it isn’t going to feel that dry. So, I happily went ahead and selected the shade “Brazen Raisin” which is deep red and I am sure it is going to look so pretty.

3. Fuschia Oil Balancing Face Gel – Lemongrass and Tea Tree

There are multiple variants of this gel in November Fab Bag and if you are subscribed, you will be receiving any of them. I received Lemongrass and Tea-Tree variant which is for Oil-Balancing. I thought why oil balancing during winter? Will this make me feel dry? But it didn’t make my skin dry at all. It felt lightweight and easy to massage. It feels like a gel without being too greasy or sticky on the skin. It was absorbed within seconds and can be easily followed by a moisturizer on top. The only thing is it literally stings in the eyes. It made my eyes so watery that I couldn’t even open them for a few seconds. I guess this will work better during summer when it is hot and humid.

4. Purple Essentionaturals Winter Cherry, Rose Oil, Liquorice, and Holi Basil Face Pack

I have already tried Purple Essentionaturals Body Wash and Bath Salt through February Fab Bag. Both were okay. But the bath salt formed some kind of brown particles in it later on and I am having no idea why. I gave this face pack a shot. It is soft and easy to apply and spreads on the skin easily but requires little effort while washing off. It doesn’t make my skin feel super dry. It gave a clear and fresh face just like a regular face pack. I didn’t feel anything ordinary. It has a strong herbal fragrance which was slightly heavy for me when I smelled the jar but it doesn’t feel weird while applying the mask. 

5. Sebamed Anti-Dry Revitalizing Shampoo

I tried Sebamed Face Wash through September Fab Bag and I quite liked it. But this time, I can’t give this shampoo a shot as I went through Colour and Keratin Treatment and I can not use any SLS or SLES-based shampoo and this shampoo does contain SLES. Maybe, after months. Let’s see. 😄

So this was all in the November Fab Bag. I was having a bit more hope but the color of the bag and skincare curation weren’t that exciting. And I also think the makeup product, other than those we select, should be the same for all.
