L’Oreal Professional Hair Masque Serie Expert Prokeratin Liss Unlimited Smoothning Masque/Mask for Rebellicious Hair with Profession Formula. Phew! That is quite a long name. I am just going to call it The Loreal Hair Mask, the purple one!

I am personally not into too many hair care or treatment products. I only bought this because my brother showed interest in this product and he is way too into hair care. For me, it is just hair oiling and I am done.

I find it too boring to leave-on something in between the shower and wait for it. Anyways, this was my first ever L’oreal professional serie expert product and because this an easy-to-use product, I thought let’s give it a try.

It is been so long since this tub is sitting on my shelf so here I am with my L’Oreal Professional Hair Masque Liss Unlimited Review.

L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Liss Unlimited Keratin Oil Complex Masque is specifically designed for curly and frizzy hair. This luscious smoothing hair mask nourishes, smoothes, and protects your hair fibers against humidity. Formulated with Polymer AR to wrap hair fiber with a special anti-humidity shield, it intensely hydrates and repairs hair while taming frizz. Unveils sleeker, shinier, and more manageable hair.

Enriched with Pro-Keratin and Kukui & Evening Primrose Oil, the Liss Unlimited range purifies the hair and scalp providing up to 4 days of anti-frizz effect, even with an 80% level of humidity.

Ingredients

• Pro-Keratine: Improves and maintains hydration of the hair, strengthens its structure, and leaves it soft and shiny.
• Kukui Nut Oil: From Asia, this nut is pressed from the seeds of the Aleurites Moluccana Tree, which oil contains Omega-6 and Omega-3, two essential fatty acids that cannot be produced by the human body. Kukui nut oil, therefore, provides reinforced protection against humidity – acting as a humidity blocker. 

Keratin complex of amino acids and wheat protein mimic the hair’s natural keratin structure to instantly strengthen and protect hair. Kukui Oil and Evening Primrose oil controls frizz and smoothes hair.

How to Use

• Spread evenly and massage into shampooed and towel-dried hair.
• Leave for 2-3 minutes, rinse thoroughly.

Review – L’Oreal Professional Hair Masque Liss Unlimited

My Hair Type – Oily scalp and normal hair.

Packaging: It comes in an opaque tub with a screw lid. Easy to store, open, and use. The label has all the details such as price, ingredients, and expiry date.

Fragrance: It has a mixed fragrance of some fruity berry scent and a high-end cosmetic product. Not bad!

My Experience

The reason I agreed to myself go for it because it says you only need to keep it for 2 to 3 minutes maximum. I do not find myself comfortable waiting for 10-20 minutes in between my shower. I mean what to do during that time lol!

After shampooing, I squeezed all the excess water from my hair and took a generous amount of this L’Oreal Professional Hair Masque Liss Unlimited, and applied evenly on the damp hair making sure it goes evenly.

The texture and consistency of L’Oreal Professional Hair Masque Liss Unlimited like a thick cream. You just have to rub it between your palm and apply evenly to your hair.

Upon noticing carefully, I realized it has tiny little shimmers mixed evenly throughout the product for a radiant or shine effect.

I left it for 2 to 3 minutes as mentioned and rinsed it off. I didn’t follow up with a conditioner because the masque did the job.

While washing it didn’t leave any sticky residue and was easy to rinse off. Thought, I felt like it slightly weighed down my hair. But I didn’t draw the final conclusions for L’Oreal Professional Hair Masque Liss Unlimited yet and allowed my hair to dry completely to see the final results.

Once my hair was all dried, I again felt like it slightly weighed down my hair. There wasn’t much of a volume but more of a weighed-down effect. No doubt, my hair felt smooth and easy to detangle.

My hair looked managed and it pretty much showed decent results. I didn’t notice any major radiance or shine but my hair didn’t look dull. If your hair is super dry and frizzy, I think this L’Oreal Professional Hair Masque Liss Unlimited is really going to work for you. But if you have oily hair, then this might not be the most impressive product for you.

The results only lasted for a day maximum and later it all looked back to normal so for me it’s like a styling product with short-term results.

The L’Oreal Professional Hair Masque Liss Unlimited is a great option to give your hair a weekly dose of moisture for smooth, frizz-controlled, and manageable hair. Plus, it is suitable for chemically treated hair.

Because I don’t have such heavy problems with dry, rough, and frizzy hair, I didn’t notice any significant results. But for someone who is facing rough and dehydrated hair, this can be a great option.

Summing Up

L’Oreal Liss Unlimited Hair Mask is great for someone with dry, rough, dull, and dehydrated hair as it actually adds moisture to your hair making them smooth and manageable. I personally felt like it slightly weighed down my hair maybe because I don’t have much dryness. The results only lasted for a day but it did make my hair slightly more manageable and hydrated. Suitable for chemically treated hair.
