I received MAC Strobe Cream Hydratant Lumineux in Pinkite way long back in PR from Nykaa. If you have been reading my blog, you must have seen my Review and Swatches on MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick in Carnivorous which was a part of the same PR Package.
I became a fan of strobing creams when I first tried one from Maybelline. The way they blend in giving a smooth radiant look is just so satisfying.
Even though this MAC Strobing Cream is a sample size, I thought why not go ahead and share my experience.

Review – MAC Strobe Cream Pinklite
Packaging: It comes in an opaque squeezable tube with a screw cap and a nozzle. In the full-size packaging, the color is displayed in the front for easy recognization.
Fragrance: None as such
Now, of course I didn’t replaced my moisturizer with this M.A.C Strobing Cream because it isn’t a skincare product and secondly, it is way too costly to be used daily as a moisturizer man!
I used it once in a while either under foundation or just as it is for a radiant look. When used under foundation, I did notice the radiance reflecting but it might be because I only use medium coverage foundations only.
If you are someone who uses a full coverage foundation, using it as your base might not show expected results.

The application and texture is smooth as a facial moisturizer, no doubt! It is easy to massage and blend in. It blends smoothly and evenly without leaving any patches or streaks behind.
Once blended in, it immediately adds a boost of radiance. I remember using MAC Strobe Cream Pinklite for the first time and loving the way my skin looked. It didn’t feel heavy at all and my skin looked next-level gorgeous to me.
The smooth radiance and glow it added, totally worth it. It didn’t look like you have a layer of something. It blended in so seamlessly providing such a glamorous radiance look.
Well, honestly, yes the price is way too costly for me personally but if you can afford or if you want to spend in the best strobing cream out there, MAC Strobe Cream is the one.
I am going to keep it for days when I’ll be traveling or for my weekend plans where I just want to keep minimal and radiant.
I also tried it using it as a cream highlighter and for highlighting purposes, it is slightly mild. Not bad, but not as strong as regular highlighters.
I also one time mixed this MAC Strobe Cream Pinklite with my foundation although I am not much of a fan of mixing products with my foundation I don’t know why, I did to see how it results and it didn’t show much of the results. The best way to use it as your base before foundation because the radiance reflects so beautifully from beneath the foundation giving a gorgeous look.
MAC Strobe Cream Pinklite is one of the smoothest and gorgeous strobing creams I have tried. It doesn’t have sparkly shimmers and offers an even smooth gorgeous radiance. Doesn’t look patchy or streaky and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky at all. Works great when used alone and also when used under foundation as a base.
- Offers even smooth radiance
- Looks gorgeous when used alone
- No Patches or Streaks
- Looks beautiful under foundation
- Easy to apply, massage, and blend in
