I fell in love with Innisfree when I first tried their Orchid Enriched Cream and OMG! The best ever! I actually went to the Innisfree store to buy that Orchid Cream but I explored their products and thought to give this Green Tea Cream a try. I love green tea and my skin loves it too so why not. I Bought and now after months, I am all set to share my experience.

My Skin Type – Normal to Combination (Earlier Oily), Sensitive and Acne-Prone Skin

Now, before I move on, I really don’t know what EX means in this. I tried to get some information on it but nope, No clue.

Packaging: It comes in a solid plastic tub with a secure screw lid in the outer packaging of cardboard pox. The packaging has all the Information and is also mess-free and travel-friendly.

Fragrance: I feel like most of the Innisfree products are light on the senses which is so great for people like me who can’t tolerate heavy fragrances. This one has a mild refreshing kind of fragrance. Doesn’t feel heavy at all. I love it.

My Experience with Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream EX

1. Balanced My Skin and Turned into a Combination from Oily

With this “Balancing” term I feel like it will just provide me a proper amount of moisture without being too heavy. The counter guy at the store said this cream/moisturizer is good for combination to oily skin so you will love it and I had oily skin and yes, super oily. And when I had oily skin, I thought this cream will be just light on my skin and won’t give me greasiness while giving moisture, that’s it. But to my surprise, it actually balanced my oily skin. I used it for months and It actually turned my Oily skin into Normal/Combination Skin. I don’t feel that extremely oily now. I was seriously surprised. Like, what? Do I have normal skin now? It felt great.

2. Light and Soft on Skin, Easy to Massage In and Gives a Healthy Glow

The texture of Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream EX is neither too thin nor too thick. It feels soft and it is so easy to massage onto the skin. I take this pea-sized amount of this moisturizer and massage it all over my face and it gets absorbed. It feels so soft and light on my skin and at the same time gives my skin healthy nourishment with a healthy glow. I can actually see my cheeks glowing. I love such textures. They provide moisture, they get absorbed, and they are light without being too runny or watery. I love it.

3. Provides Nourishment without being Heavy or Greasy on the Skin

The moisture level Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream EX gives is so perfect for the skin. I never felt any heaviness or stickiness or greasiness after using this. Even after hours, I don’t feel sweaty or oily which was so common for my skin. Neither I felt any kind of dryness. Even dry skin people will like it too, I feel so!

4. Gives Baby Soft Skin

My skin feels so soft and supple after massaging on my skin. I love that suppleness and that healthy bounce on my skin. And I have noticed that all Innisfree products give that. The amount or Intensity of the Moisture may vary in all variants but all the creams I have tried be it Orchid, Green Tea, or Pomegranate, all make my skin soft and supple. The nourishment they add is so healthy and I feel like it is from within. It doesn’t look fake or just a greasy layer of cream.

5. Suitable for Sensitive and Acne-Prone Skin. Got No Irritation or Breakout

This is what I love about Innisfree Products. They work and they never do any harm on my skin. I get no clogged pores, pimples, rashes, or anything with this. I have sensitive skin and products can go wrong on my skin with the speed of blinking the eye but I never felt anything wrong be it Innisfree Orchid, Green Tea, or Pomegranate Cream. I just Love, Love, and Love Innisfree Products.

Does it work on Acne or Rash?

It is Green Tea based so I thought this moisturizer will work on my existing pimples but I can’t really say about it. I use cold green tea bags over my pimples, acne cream, and aloe gel so even if this cream added its bit, I can’t say. The best part, it doesn’t add to my pimples.

If I will compare Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream EX with my Innisfree Orchid Cream, the moisture level of this Green Tea Balancing Cream EX is definitely less than that because Orchid Cream is totally based on Intense Moisturization. Orchid Cream provides deep moisturization and Improving Skin Texture. While Innisfree Green Tea Cream works on providing moisture just to balance out the skin moisture.

Summing Up

Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream EX is Perfect for a Normal, Combination to Oily Skin. After a month or so it balanced my oily skin and turned to Normal/Combination. I don’t feel extremely oily now. The texture and formula of the cream are light, soft, and easy on my skin and get absorbed easily leaving my skin soft, supple, and nourished with a healthy glow. It doesn’t leave any dryness behind and also doesn’t makes my skin heavy or greasy even after hours. It worked well on my sensitive and acne-prone skin and got No Irritation or Breakouts.
