I remember receiving COCO SOUL Revitalizing Face Wash in my Nykaa Pink Friday Sale 2019 PR box. This was the first time I tried something from the brand Coco Soul. I can not believe it is almost a year since I have this with me and it took me so long to write a review. Well, this whole year 2020 totally disturbed the routine and everything and I actually realized what procrastination is! lol.

Review – COCO SOUL Revitalizing Face Wash
My Skin Type – Combination to Oily during Summers, Dry in Winters, Sensitive, and Acne-Prone Skin
Packaging: It comes in a see-through squeezable tube with a screw lid having a nozzle to dispense in the product. Because the consistency is slightly on the runnier side, it can be a little messy to store the product or to travel with.
Fragrance: HEAVEN! HEAVEN! HEAVEN! It feels like you are sniffing the purest form of coconut. If you are an Indian then would definitely relate it to Narial ki Barfi! lol.
I started by taking a half-coin sized amount and started rubbing it between my hands to make lather and noticed it isn’t easy with this face wash.
It has some sticky gel base which makes it a bit tough to turn it into lather or foam. After giving it some time, I gently massaged my face with this COCO SOUL Revitalizing Face Wash and nice circulation motion and noticed it doesn’t form much of a lather.
After washing off, I noticed that it is leaving a bit of a soft soapy layer behind and requires some work to completely take off the cleanser from the face. Definitely, not my kind! Especially during summers when it is all hot, humid, and sweaty.
Even though I love how beautiful it smells but I am more of a strong foaming cleanser kind of girl. I think I’ll consider it during winters as my skin gets really dry during those cold air days and a mild cleanser like this will be the right choice then.
It is a super mild delicate cleanser with soft gel and I think it will serve the best who are of dry skin or who enjoys the mild soft texture with their face wash.

In terms of cleansing, it did well. It took off all the dirt and sweat leaving my face feeling fresh but it took a lot of time to take the cleanser off entirely from my face.
I personally do not enjoy extremely mild cleansers when it is all hot and humid. I prefer them during winters when my skin is all dry and need only gentle cleansers.
Recently, I tried my hands on The Body Shop Tea-Tree cleanser, and even though it is in runny gel form but it does a fabulous job of cleansing and leaving a blast of freshness without any soapy layer behind.
Coming back to COCO SOUL Revitalizing Face Wash, if you are an oily skin person, you might not find it the best for you especially during summers but if you are a dry skin person and you love the mild-gel cleanser, you can go for it.
The COCO SOUL Revitalizing Face Wash is a soft, mild, and gel-based cleanser ideal for people who have got dry skin or prefer mild cleansers. It doesn’t form much of a lather and requires effort to completely take off from the face as it leaves some kind of soapy layer behind. It does cleanse well and suitable for sensitive skin.
