Review – Palmer’s Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub

Palmer's Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub Review

My Skin Type: Combination to Oily in Summers, Dry in Winters, Sensitive and Acne-Prone Skin.

Packaging: It comes in a squeezable tube with a twistable screw lid. You need to twist the cap a little to open the nozzle. It has all the information you need such as the price, expiry date, ingredients and more.

Palmer's Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub Review

Well, it is travel-friendly but because it doesn’t have any proper cap to seal the nozzle, it has only this twist and lock cap, there is some amount of product always left on the outer side of the cap so it can be kind of messy while taking it around traveling. Hope I am making sense here 😀

Fragrance: It has a similar fragrance to Palmer’s Coconut Water Facial Moisturizer, which is sweet and delicious like a food item made of coconut. Sounds yummy right? 😀

My Experience

Palmer's Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub Review

I start by taking a coin-sized amount on the palm and start massaging it on my face in a slow gentle circular motion. It is a semi-runny semi-thick creamy-milky scrub loaded with fine gritty scrub particles.

Creamy, but not sticky or thick. I like the soft cream-like texture of the scrub. It is highly loaded with exfoliating particles which I Love. I find it satisfying when scrubs are loaded with scrub particles.

Palmer's Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub Review

The exfoliating particles are fine and gritty but not pokey at the same time which means they are deeply exfoliating and they don’t tear up my skin which is great. I personally enjoy strong gritty scrubs. 😀 Just like St.Ives Apricot Scrub.

I love exfoliators with deep exfoliating factor. I think it is everybody’s personal choice. Some people love thick and dry exfoliators while some love the mild and soft ones and that’s the beauty of having different skin types and liking.

Palmer's Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub Review

I massage my face with this Palmer’s Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub for a few minutes and I could feel the massage these particles do on my skin. It feels like some really tiny round massagers are massaging my skin increasing blood circulation. I was loving and enjoying the scrubbing experience with Palmer’s Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub.

After washing off the scrub it actually leaves the skin soft and polished like it claims. I could feel my skin smooth and soft after exfoliating. 100% true to the claims.

Palmer's Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub Review

The effect lasts for a day only so it is good for prepping up the skin before any event or a party or something 😀

Even though the effects are only temporary, I like how it leaves my skin soft and polished.

What I didn’t like about this scrub is even after washing off the scrub, it leaves some fine scrub particles on the face here and there such as in between the eyebrows and on the sideburns which I dusted off later. 😀

The plus point, it worked beautifully on my sensitive and acne-prone skin and didn’t lead to breakouts or clogging up of pores.

Conclusion

Palmer’s Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub is 100% true to the claims. It does soften up my skin leaving it smooth and polished. It has a creamy milky texture loaded with fine gritty exfoliating particles which I really like. I find the scrub particles massaging on my skin. The delicious fragrance makes it interesting to use. It is free from harsh chemicals and doesn’t lead to breakout on my sensitive skin.

Pros

  • Free from Harsh Chemicals
  • True to the Claims
  • Softens up the Skin
  • Leaves Skin Smooth and Polished
  • Massages the Skin

Cons

  • Temporary Effects
  • Product is always left on the outer side of the cap after closing
  • Some fine granules are always left on the face here and there, after washing off the scrub

So this was it for today. I hope you have enjoyed reading this. You can always connect with me on my Instagram.
