Also known as ‘flavonoids’ are the natural pigments (dyes) which give fruits and vegetables their bright and distinguished colours.



Studying bioflavonoids revealed many health benefits.


Quercetin stabilises cell membranes which releases histamine; a compound active in healing inflammatory and allergic reactions. It’s found in citrus fruits and buckwheat whereas quercetin helps in preventing seasonal allergies. 

Rutin is another bioflavonoid which protects you from bleeding and other easy bruising abnormalities.
