About Pukhraj Pure Herbals

Pukhraj strives for complete health and beauty through its products, which are specially formulated by the expert team after years of research. Stringent quality checks are made for all the products at each and every step to ensure highest quality standards before the products go into the consumer’s hands. All products are free from harmful chemicals and preservatives.

Year back, the store, from where I bought this, Marketing people of this Brand were introducing this Brand and their products to everyone. At that time, I bought only Aloe Vera Juice and Amla Juice to give this Brand a shot. And the products are costlier than Patanjali. But still, because of that herbal and natural vibes, I decided to try. Even the Brand Ambassador is Hemal Malini. Experience with drinks was pretty good, but the quantity was very much less If I compare with Patanjali. Because I liked the juices, I thought to try their Aloe Vera Gel and Tulsi Drops.

First time I tried tulsi drops was Jolly Tulsi 51 Drops which honestly I loved. Like the real extract of all types of tulsi. That was really healthy. The Pukhraj one is good too, but not up to that level of Jolly Tulsi 51. Now let's get into the Pukhraj Aloe Vera Skin Gel.

Review

Packaging: It is really great. Like all the important information you expect on the product label. It comes in a squeezable tube with a revolving cap.

Fragrance: Now this is the main point. It has the really bad smell. I mean really bad. It was intolerable. Even my family tried and made funny yucky face 😄 I was really shocked to see aloe vera product smelling this much bad. I discontinued it just because of the smell. I even emailed them about the foul smell but NO-REPLY!!

They say their products are pure herbals and do not contain any chemical. But there was chemical list mentioned on the product. Glad to see they shared the complete ingredient list.

Effectiveness: I didn't notice any nourishment after applying the on the skin. Also, my skin showed minor breakouts. Aloe vera gel is known for its coolness. But here, I didn't experience any coolness. In fact, I didn't experience any positive effect. This aloe vera gel was totally a money waste for me.

To make this gel useful, I made a DIY Face Mist which is shared by my friend Khadija in her blog post, khadijabeauty.com/diy-face-mist-for-oily-dry-skin-hair-mist. I really liked the mist. Even the foul smell of aloe vera was reduced here but not gone and it was still bothering me. Ultimately, I just left it.

I really feel bad in these type of situations and find ways to use and finish the product in any way. I'm trying to finish it by using it on my feet but again, THE SMELL!! 😖

Pros

  • Complete Information
  • Nice Packaging

Cons

  • Foul Smell
  • Gave Breakouts
  • No Cooling Sensation
  • Contains chemicals
  • Not Effective

Available at Amazon.in

So you guys can sum up now my experience with this. 😄 If you have any product in particular which you are willing to see review, can share with me and I'll make sure to follow up with that. Stay Tuned for more and have a Good Day! 💕
